I emailed Cathy last friday about reserving the Palo room for dinner for my guests and i the night of the VR...she still hasn't responded.

Jennifer, email her EVERY day until she does. Or call and ask for her boss and explain that you need answers even if they are ""I can't help you with that until XXXX XX, 2009!"

i agree..send her another note so she can put it in your file.. I don't think she can reserve it till 120odd days before the cruise, but she can at least have it noted that is what you want!

Off to email her again. If she can't book teh room yet, that's fine. just TELL ME!!:headache:

That was one of my biggest problems, just email me back so I know my request is not lost in space! UGH!

do you have an email receipt? I had those so when she read it, I knew it!;)

yes, she finally replied back. 105 days to book Palo room. atleast i know now when i can do it.

When can you book spa appointments? I'm trying to update my calender with all the important dates! I dont' want to miss anything!

You are considered Consierge, so you get the furthest booking time...I believe that it is 105 days before, so you will get the better times, however you need to be fully paid before you can book any of those things. And, if you are putting someone with you, they need to be fully booked and the same category as you....like if your sister is going and she has never been, you can't book side by side pedicures until the 60 day mark (or whatever time they are allowed to book) Pardon my memory, but it's been an entire year!!:crazy2:

So i should be able to book the spa the same time as the Palo room. Ok!

Thanks!

Cheryl,

I can't believe it's been a year already. Where did the time go?

I don't know, but a year ago today I was leaving the dismeet, on the way over to meet Florencia to see about the VR stuff, and then find the rest of my crew to watch the Patriots win the playoffs...

Sorry to all of you that emailed and i have not responded......My mom has surgury and a biopsy on the 23rd so needless to say its been a little crazy.:(:(:(:(

Im working on answering all my pms, thank you all so much for your patience.

On another note.

I got an email from Cathy today about the wedding cake. She told me that the mad hatter design that she thought would happen isn't going to. She said I need to stick with the standard cake in the package. She apologized to me and told me that they just dont have to tools and capability to do it for me :(:(:( It's ok though because the hubby and I love Betsy's cake. :) And Cathy said their was no problem adding colors.

I can bring a different topper though right?

Hi Bella!! I'm sorry about your mom!! I hope she's ok!

Boo on the cake! I'm really going to have to do some looking and thinking because i really jsut don't like the design on their standard cake at all! :sad1:

Do you think they'd be able to do a 2 layer "Happily Ever After"? I mean..how much more basic can you get? Cover it in fondant and write on it. Wonder if they have the Mickey Stamp for Mickey's Delight??

Hi Jen..Thanks.

Im upset about the cake too. But you do have a good idea. Those are some pretty easy designs. We should try that!! Do you have a picture of the Happily Ever After cake? Could you pm it to me? I think we should give it a shot.
I mean those pastry chefs have to have some form of SKILL or they wouldn't be working for Disney!!

I would think any of those would be an option. Plus they should be able to do any of the Escape option cakes.

I think the problem is that the onboard pastry shop doesn't use fondant. Has anyone seen any fondant-covered DCL cakes? I'm hoping I'm wrong....
