We are driving down so I was planning on ordering them online and then using the box to bring them back for everyone. Do you think that will work?

I went to Land's End website but they aren't on sale anymore:confused3 Did it end already or did everyone get them somewhere else. These are great ideas. I was going to do baskets by Shirley but I don't think I can afford that many. Keep the ideas coming! Thanks!

You have to click on the banner that says beach sale, it is only certain ones, not the totes that have the different color handles...one looked nice though, def. check them out!

I decided to ship mine out with my floral items about two weeks prior through fed ex, only going to bring my wedding dress on the plane with me. :)

I heard from Shanda! She told me that the Dream onboard weddings/vow renewals are taking place in a space called the Outlook on Deck 14's forward funnell. Has anyone seen this space?

She said it has floor to ceiling windows and is indoors - sounds really nice!

I wanted to share our six month wedding surprise with all of you!

They were made by a gourmet baker here in NJ and she mailed them to all our guests, if you would like her info she is at:

www.asweetmemory.net, her name is Annmarie Cooney and tell her I sent you! She was wonderful and they were soooo yummy! Everyone got really excited when they received them!

I've seen some of the pictures of the outlook and to be honest I'm not loving it. I think I'm going to go for a castaway cay svs. The room looks big it just seems really bright in all the pictures I've seen. I really wish they had a deck option but as far as I know they haven't decided on one yet.

My new question that I am to embarrassed to ask Shanda...

Did you guys tip your wedding servers/planner on board etc? (not your dinner servers, but the ones that helped you during your wedding and the on board wedding planner/assistant)

If so, how much did you tip them? A percentage or a flat fee per person?

I did tip Rufaro and the musician..Both did, what I consider, over and above the level of service I expected.
We did just a flat fee..probably equal to what you would tip a server for the week. I didn't tip the captain because, as it was explained to us..he is a "professional" and isn't tipped..and, as nice as he was..he just sorta showed up and did his part and left..nothing extra.
(then again..after the ceremony, we did get an invitation for a private bridge tour..so maybe I should have tipped him..lol)

I often wondered about tipping, I believe you can look in the Passporters Disney wedding book they have a blurb about it...but I am going to tip the wedding coordinator, and the musician as well...I am gonna bring a whole wad of cash just for tipping for the wedding I can see it now! lol

I don't like to travel with cash but I highly doubt they take travelers checks? Just wondering lol

I was thinking of tipping the wedding coordinator and musician also but I wouldn't know how much. If you happen to run across the amount to tip, please post it so we will all know. Thanks!!

Guest services should be able to cash your traveler's checks for you so you don't have to travel with the cash if you don't want to.

I just received an email from Shanda with a LOT of information. The document titled Elements and Enhancements really has me thinking I don't know what my parents will want for their vow renewal.

Anyone have opinions/feedback they could share with me:

What color and type of flowers did you choose?

Mom loves pink - what would be the best color and flower choice?

What flavor cake and filling did you have and did you like it?

Is it possible to get color added to the cake (since this is a vow renewal and not a wedding ceremony)?

What is a flower cake topper like and did you have one?

What music did you select?

Does the musician sing or just play?

Any additional advice?

The vow renewal won't be a surprise, but the fact that my sister and I have paid for it and planned it will - I know my parents want to do it, but won't do it - they won't want to spend the money or deal with the planning. So DSis and I are doing it for them!

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hello all! :goodvibes

It's been so long since i last checked back in! I got a little over 3 months left and i am finding myself not able to sleep much from all the excitement. I just payed off my cruise room & now all i have to do is pay for the wedding portion. since i have over 10 guest and the have additional fee for guests over 10.. when do you pay for that exactly? the day when all payment is due?

I am paying at 110 days prior to sailing so I can book brunch at sea for my guests the day after the wedding instead of being taken out of dinner rotation.

I think 75 days prior to sailing you need to though....

Here's the answer I got for costs (including on board photography)

The Disney Cruise Line wedding photography package will be billed to your onboard stateroom account once you are onboard the ship during your sailing.

If there are any additional monies after we process your completed planning guide (i.e. additional guest fee or extra floral for family or bridal party), I will send you a budget 45 days prior to your sailing with a due date of 30 days prior to your sailing.

So my parents are coming for a visit tomorrow. My sister has printed up some save the date cards (sorry don't have a photo and they are wrapped, but they have cinderella and her prince and are really pretty). We're going to give my parents the save the date cards that state we are hosting their vow renewal on the Disney Fantasy (one year from now). (They are already booked on the cruise and mom had mentioned she always wanted to do a Vow Renewal and this year is their 35th anniversary.)

I made this inspiration board/planning board for my mom to see after we tell her (as long as her reaction is positive) to give her some ideas of what we can do for her vow renewal...

wish us luck tomorrow!
