Are there any books that pertain to the Disney Cruise line? If so, which do you feel is the best? As an engineer, I tend to completely research my vacations, but I have yet to find any books just on the DCL. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday and the only thing I found was a book about all the cruise lines with one chapter on DCL. Nothing about DCL by itself though.

That doesn't help out much does it???

Honestly though, I've found more info out by just being here, than anything I've ever read in a book, nice as they are to have.

Birnbaum's Disney Cruise Line The Official Guide 2005
I found it at Barnes and Nobel

It all Disney, it's not a long book but greart info. :sunny:

Try passporter.com. This book is dedicated to the DCL with a new edition shipping May 9th. We love ours - and it has EVERYTHING in it! ;)

In my humble opinion the passporter offers the most comprehensive guide around. And of course using these boards too........ :flower:

yeah I was at B&N yesterday and all I could find was the book on all cruise...I will check out passporter....thanks

I can't remember if they are going to have any information on mexican cruises in passport coming out may 9

I am also an engineer and love information. I have always bought a passporter when I was planning a cruise. I would also probably try the DCL book, just to see what it was. However, I have found the best information on this board. Other websites have also been useful.

Yet another vote for the Passporter....But keep in mind...even if you spend alot of time researching your cruise...there may be last min. changes. We spent months researching our cruise, the ports of call and possable excrusions...to have it ALL change due to the weather...instead of going on the Western cruise we went on a modifyed Eastern...but thanks to having the Passporter with us we were able to do a quick look up on our new ports and places that we were stoping.

The passporter is also filled with inside tips and tricks for on the ship...including sample menu items from the restraunts onboard and onboard activites for everyone.
