Hi there my mom and I are selling tomorrow and she does not have a Disney cruise line login account. I have downloaded the cruise app on her phone. Can I just login with my own or does she need her own unique login? Does she have to have the app on her phone or can I just do everything from my app? Thanks!

If you plan to separate at any time and need to communicate via the app (unless you have iPhones and can iMessage for free), then yes, she’ll need her own Disney account

Don't think that is correct. My 17 year old doesn't have a Disney login account and we were still able to use the Chat function through the app.

I know that when I was going to have my sister use my log-in on our DCL last month, we got a warning that any prior chats that were there (which I had with a 3rd party in our group) would be deleted once she logged into my account on her phone. She ended up using her own log-in.

My husband, daughter and I all use the same log in and we had no issue. Once we pressed that "I'm on the ship!" option in the app, it set us each up as an individual.

No separate log in needed to chat, if you each have your own device.
