Disney Crowds March vs June

My dh just found out about a trade show he needs to attend in orlando March 25th. I was thinking it might be my chance to get our 3 youngest children to go to Disney World. We could go March 24th through the 28th. Our other option is to go for a week in June.

When do you think will be less crowded? I know June will be hotter. Are there any advantages to choosing one over the other? I need to figure out my plan of action so I can convince dh this is a good idea.

Just check touring plans, March is showing a 7 out of 10 for crowds but June is showing 8. Now sometimes these are fairly but recently when we have gone they have been hit or miss. Either way I think they will be abut the same, yes June will be hotter but March weather can be crazy down here. Sometimes we get wicked storms. Sorry not much help but maybe some things to think about, or maybe confuse you more. lol

Take me with you! My birthday is on the 25th, and I'm turning 40, so I could use it! ;)

When we were researching when to go we decided not to try for March, because apparently that's when organizations head down there like cheering and such, as well as spring break for some. I'm not sure about June, we never wanted to go in the summer.

LOL! Now I am more confused than ever! I didn't know weather can be crazy in March. I know it can be really hot in June. I wouldn't want to go in July or August. Our spring break is the week after Easter- so April 4th through April 11th. I wonder if that would be less crowded than in March.
How do I find touring plans?

Go to touring plans.com, you can only look for about 30 days without joining. AFter that is costs a little something. I think around $9.00 a year. I can always keep an eye on this thread if you want and look up days for you. Sorry just looked at those dates for you. April 4th - 11th the parks are listed as 9's

The periods to avoid in 2010 are listed below:

New Year - January 1-2
Marathon - January 7-9
Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend - January 15-17
Presidents Day - February 12-14
Peak Season (especially weekends) - February 15 - March 27
Easter - March 28 - April 10
Summer Season at the Value and Moderate resorts (especially weekends and Independence Day Weekend - July 2-4) - June 4 - August 14
Thanksgiving Weekend - November 24-27
Holiday Season - December 17-31

I would go in June.

Spring Break can go from mid-Feb through April, and doesn't necessarily coincide with whenever Easter is (which I think is on April 4 for 2010). Our area's Spring Break is always the last week of March, so plenty of families head down to WDW, which is only about a 6-7 hour drive. Either March or June (Honeymoons, graduations, family vacations), expect it to be quite crowded.
