I am going over to Watertown on Sunday to the Carosel Mall and was wondering if anyone had any advice about buy crocs (Disney or not) in the states. With the exchange and duty - is it better to buy in Canada? :confused3
thanks
Connie

I don't think there is a price advantage - I paid $35 for my regular ones and $40 for my Disney ones here in Canada.

I was at the Salmon Run Mall in Watertown on March 8th and both the Dick's Sporting Goods store or the Hallmark do not carry Disney Crocs. When I visited WDW over March break, I was very disappointed to find they were completely sold out of women's size small in every colour. They even phoned the warehouse looking for more stock. I am very disappointed in S&R and A-1 clothing store in Kingston. They are now saying they will not carry Disney crocs. The story I got was the sales rep told them there was no market for Adult Disney Crocs. I told them I found that was very interesting considering WDW can't keep the popular Adult sizes in stock!:confused3

I just bought Disney Crocs for presents at Factory Shoe in Burlington ON. Before I went to Disney last Dec I ordered mine directly from Crocs.com as soon as they came out - I paid 9.99 to ship 3 pairs and interesting thing I found out most of the crocs made in North America are made in Canada! If you go to their website it's somewhere in the Help or Faq! I paid no Duty or customs, just the shipping charge and they did my order in 2 shipments still the one cost. It's a great option when you can't find them here, I don't find the pricing that much different. They are soooo comfortable!

I got a pair of adult Disney Crocs (pearl with pink strap) t North by Northwest in Limeridge Mall in Hamilton (thanks to a fellow Dis'er who had posted on these boards)so if you ahve a North By Northwest store in a mall near you, check them out. I did find out that Crocs sets the price of the Crocs so the price should be same everywhere. I paid $39.99 + tax for my pearl Disney Crocs and I paid $34.99 + tax for my black Disney Crocs at WDW in December.

I own a pair as do my two children. On our last trip, my dd (5 yrs) got major blisters and my ds (8 yrs) had his mulched on the esclulator leaving the soarin ride. Thank God it wasn't his toes. The tip of the shoe was all eaten up. I have decided to use the crocs at the beach or back yard from now on. I had heard about the crocs being dangerous on exculators but when it happens to one of your own, you take it seriously!!

Take care
:goodvibes

All five of us wore our Crocs for 10 days...no blisters. However they are absolutely treacherous if the ground is wet. We had arrived at rope drop at MGM and they had just sprayed down everything with hoses. DD was walking over a wet patch on the street and her feet went right out from under her and she got serious road rash. Definitely not a nice way to start the day as they have no grip on wet surfaces. I have heard of the escalator thing but fortunately have not encountered it ourselves.
