Disney Crocs....Hmmmm

For some reason my Disney Crocs (made in China) fit a wee bit bigger than my original Crocs (made in Canada). I am going to run them in the dryer for a few minutes to try and bring them in a bit.

Ya wanna know what really frosts my cookies is that there are such limited adult Disney Crocs!!! What is UP with that?! Do these people not know about the DIS? About all the grown ups who are so crazy for disney and for crocs and want that combo in every fun color and style available to children?! Where is the JUSTICE?!!! I personally believe that The Dis is the reason that Disney and Crocs teamed up!!! We should start a letter writing campaign! ;)

Disney Crocs are all over New Jersey...well at least North Jersey...I've seen them several times...mostly kids of course, but they seem to be in the smaller stores as far as I can tell.

I am going to get my step kids both a pair for our trip to Disneyworld in August...(jeez it's not even december and I'm already planning for August!) But I may wait and buy the crocs there if there are going to be new styles with tinkerbelle and the gang! *sigh* I love shoes...I have a problem. I don't even think Crocs are all that good looking...I just love shoes...
I was at a trade show for shoe store owners ln August and stopped by to see the Crocs rep and find out what the Disney crocs would look like. He told me then that all the adult sizes were already gone and only child sizes could be ordered for the fall. He said they just didn't make that many for adults because they wouldn't sell as well. I told him the company made a big mistake and he looked at me like I was crazy. I tried to explain about all the "big kids" who need their Disney fix. He really had no idea, completely clueless. I wonder if he remembers what I told him now!!

I have questions!!! I've never bought crocs, infact I think they're a little like clown shoes but if they're really that comfortable I'll get some for our trip in May. Has anyone else bought the type that are sold at payless or walmart and if so are they as comfortable? I'm cheap and I just don't know if I want to spend that much of plastic shoes! :confused3

Actually, if you've seen Santa Clause 3, they're more like ELF shoes than clown shoes. ;) I have 3 of the Payless ones (tie dyes) and 2 pairs of Crocs (one beach and one mary jane) and there is a HUGE difference between them. The Crocs are much cooler and feel so much better on my feet. I have a heel spur, so I can't wear the cheapie ones for long. I just did 2 conventions w/ a trip to WDW in between in only Crocs and my feet hardly ever hurt at all. There also isn't an odor problem, which has been an issue for my 10yo lately.

I got DDs and I Disney Crocs for St. Nicholas Day (only they sent the wrong color for 10yo, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the new ones arrive in time!)

How are the sizing on the Crocs? My mom was at Dicks yesterday, and she saw some regular Crocs. She wears an 11, so she tried on the Large, but she said it was a little too small, but she said the XL was too big.

I wear a size 9 but buy the L Crocs (10-11). Your foot is supposed to fit in the bed of the shoe without touching any of the sides of the shoe. It takes some getting used to, but I love mine! I have 3 pairs including red and black Disney Crocs that just got here Friday! The coolest thing is that they say "Disney" along the back of the heel.

Thanks to the Budget Board, I got mine from ShoeBuy.com for under $26 and free shipping!

I have vowed to not wear them until we go to WDW ... in June!

Does anyone know other then going to DW or DL are we going to be able to get them on line? I already asked my local Disney Store (which is no longer owned by Disney) and they will not be getting them my next trip is not schedule until June 2007 however I want my discrocs before then.

Hi, I just saw a ton of these Disney crocs (with the Mickey icon cutouts) in a small shop in a Bloomington, IL mall. The cost was about $35 per pair. I thought that was a bit high, but am now wondering what some of the other prices out there are. This could be a steal and I didn't know it.

Thanks!

They have been online at shoebuy.com there is a $10 off coupon and sizes have been selling out. I got my dd's hers last week from there and she is already wearing them. Search for the thread on the budget board for all the details and code.

I found my Disney crocs at my local Hallmark store - the lady working there said she has been selling them like crazy - they had plenty of adult and little bitty sizes for kids (those are so cute) - They were $35 but we leave in 9 days and I wanted them for my trip. Call around to your Hallmark stores to see if they carry them.

BTW does anyone know if Jibbitz will stay in the Disney crocs?

The Wal-mart brands are NOT like the real crocs. They are a hard plastic. Winn-Dixie on the other hand has some $10 types that are very soft nd seem close enought to the real thing for me.

I just received the ones I ordered last week from www.nofeargear.com :thumbsup2 I got my DDs the pink and they are too cute! I got myself a black/red pair but I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. They look a little wonky to me. I guess it's just one of those things you need to get used to? They feel pretty comfy so I guess I'll keep them.

Does anyone know where in the parks I should look for these when they go on sale the 15th? I want to get a pair for my DD and maybe another pair for myself in another color :)

The ends curve up a little, thats probly just a rumor. I wore crocs 2 disney, they we so comfortable!

This particular thread was started because someone was told on Dec. 15 the parks will start to sell them. Thats why a few have asked where in the parks to look for them.

Does anybody know if we can buy them in WDW. I am leaving next week. My childrens crocs arrived yesterday. I couldn't order bc every place was sold out. i'm a size s. I would love to buy a pair there.
Valerie

Does anyone know if the WDW exclusive crocs came out yesterday? Just waiting for an update to see what they look like!
