I have a Disney Credit card which I have not used in years, but it is still valid. I see there are some threads regarding discounts with the Disney Visa. Are these the same cards?? If not, I guess I need to cancel my Disney credit and apply for the Visa.

Thye aren't the same thing, and they are issued by different banks. The Disney Visa is from Bank One. It's a no annual fee, rewards based card accepted anywhere that Visa is, and you get points everytime you use it that you can redeem for Disney Reward Dollars. The Disney Credit Card can only be used a the Disney Store, Disney World, Disney Land, etc.

In all honesty if you havne't used it in a long time (two years or longer) it might have been cancelled on you, you should check before you try to use it.

I did check and it is still good. As a matter of fact, the credit limit has been increased and I did not even know it. (Don't plan on maxing out a card with that kind of interest rate!!!) I had just gotten it to book a room a few years ago because I got a discount using it. Paid in off as soon as we got home so there would be no interest. Thanks for you response. Sounds like the Visa is a better card anyway.
