Well, the RED card arrived in the mail today. I called to activate it and found out that it takes 4-6 weeks to receive your "reward dollars" in the mail once they are requested.

Apparently they can expedite the request, but there is a "charge" for that. This means that I must start spending a lot as we are traveling down in May! Probably better just build up for our trip next March.

Also, my joint account card did not show up. They are having problems getting them out and should arrive in a couple of weeks.

Let the charging begin!

My husband got his card today, but mine isn't here yet. We were told it would be here in a few days.

Mine came, my husband's didn't.

Wasn't it supposed to be umm..more..special-looking? Wasn't "Member since Day 1" supposed to be bigger? Or was I dreaming?

Hi,

Did they include a redemption point schedule with your card? I was wondering how many points it takes to get discounts or credits.

Thanks!

The MOUSE turned me DOWN!!!! LOL!!! I've got every other card imaginable and I get turned down by a RODENT????? Just kidding on the "rodent" part but I did get the I'm sorry letter!!!
I just lol and said oh well!!!!

Did they give you any reason why you were turned down?

Did you all apply online at the website? I applied and haven't heard anything yet, and I was getting nervous because I gave my SS#. So hopefully I'll be getting a card soon. I'm so paranoid about giving information online!

I wouldn't worry too much yet Aisling...we applied online also and haven't heard anything either. More I'm sure will showing up in the next week or two. If you haven't heard by then, I would call and see what's going on.

We applied online a day or so after someone on the boards mentioned Bank One was taking early applications. Our card came on Sat.

I applied a couple of months ago via the DC web site. Bank One called just a couple of weeks ago. I was rather surprised that it showed up so quickly.

My additional user card for DH wasn't enclosed, however, and the rep said they had a glitch in the system that sent out additional cards and it should be here in a couple of weeks.

I too, thought that it would be a little more impressive looking. Oh, well, I'd really rather just have my DC back!!!!

O.K., just hearing everyone say they got their is really getting me a little ancy!! I have not received mine either, hopefully it will be here this week. I applied online as soon as I received the notice.
Guess I will have to be a little more patient.........

I just got mine today too....but didn't get the extra card for DW. She was a little miffed.

Still waiting for mine. I'm anxious to know the "rewards" program.

Did they send this with the card? Does one point equal one dollar when you trade in?

Does one point equal one dollar when you trade in?

If I'm understanding correctly, for every $100 you spend you get 1 point. It doesn't say how many points things will be worth.

I made my first charge today...on food at the supermarket! And then I just put the cash in an envelope to save for the bill. I want to get as many points as I can, even though I doubt I'll get enough for anything substantial!
But I'm happy I have the card, anyway. And the check out girl asked where I got it because she had never seen it before.

About the APR, I'd like to know that information, too. I just may call and find out if someone doesn't post here first.

I took this directly from the website:

A 0% fixed APR for the first 6 billing cycles following the opening of your account. After that, 11.15% variable,†13.15% variable or 15.15% variable, depending on our review of your application and credit history

Hope this helps!

I just wish they put more info regarding the rewards.....

I received a letter today stating that"in order to complete the processing of your application, we require the following information:

Photocopy of your social security card

Proof of address/original gas, water, electric bill

Has anyone ever had this happen?
