I won the Disney Families Unbeelievable contest. I won airfare, transfers, and four nights three days hotel at my choice of New York, Chicago, Miami or San Francisco.

Now, I LOVE Chicago and New York but I have already visited both of those places in the past. The trip will be an all adults trip. No kiddos.

If you had to choose which would you pick Miami or San Francisco and why.

When is the trip?

Do you have to participate in stuff while you are there or are you "free" to do as you please?

I fell in LOVE with SF last September. Go there. It is such a great place to go for a long weekend.

Plus, they have the Walt Disney Family Museum which is a must see, and it not really kid-related, so the munchkins won't miss it.

Plus, SF is a romantic city. The restaurants are great and everything is walking distance or public transportation-distance.

Plus, the cable cars are a total hoot to ride.

Without question, I'd pick San Francisco. I have always wanted to go there.

Congratulations!

I personally wouldn't go near Miami, except to drive through on my way to the Keys.

I've been to all 4, and SF is by far the top choice to me. It is absolutely beautiful. I want to go back!

Congratulations! What an awesome prize!

I have until May 2011 to take the trip. There are no requirements so my time is all mine to do as I please.

The package does not cover incidentals; food, souvenirs, tips, etc.

I completely forgot about the Walt Disney Family Museum. That is a big plus. :cool1:

I have been to San Francisco and remember how beautiful the area is. You'd be near wine country and Carmel and Monterey. The food there was fresh and varied. It's a wonderful city. In all fairness, I don't have a feel for Miami. I will be there in a couple of weeks to go on a cruise and will have a day or two to explore, so who knows, maybe I'll come back and change my vote.

I loved San Francisco!! Alcatraz is a must do. I also went to the Muir Forest which was so cool. Did a bus tour and saw Carmel and Monteray.:thumbsup2

Hey, neighbor . Congratulations!! I'd pick San Francisco. I've been to Miami twice in the past year (once to see some family and once for a work trip), and I would prefer to never go back there. I've never been to San Francisco but would love to go ::yes::.

I picked San Francisco, I have never been but have always wanted to go. :thumbsup2 FWIW, I went to Miami a couple of years ago and I didn't think it was all that great. Unless you are into too skinny models, photoshoots on the beach and trendy restaurants and nightclubs, I don't think you would like it all that much either.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I wasn't sure about Miami. Never even thought about going there but other than clubs and beaches it just doesn't sound like there would be alot to do during the day.

SF for sure. I'd spend some time in the city and then head up to the wine country, the TWiT cottage, and the DigiBarn.

SF :thumbsup2

Congrats on winning!! :goodvibes

Last year I won an all expense paid trip to BOTH Disneyland and Disneyworld from Macy's! I know exactly how you are feeling:banana:

I have to agree with everyone else and say SF. I haven't been there in years and I would go back there before I chose one of the other destinations.

Since you have never been to SanFran go there. :thumbsup2 It is very nice. Trolleys, Chinatown, Ghiradelli Square, etc...

If it were me I would go to NYC. I have a nephew I want to see and I did not go to the Empire State Building or a show when we went in 2002.

Since you took NY out of the mix, San Fran.
There is soooo much to do there!! Lovely area and the food!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:
