Starting a thread where you confess your Disney sins.. Pleas share and all will be forgiven. I will start with my own. Next person give me penance to perform, and then confess your own sin.

Forgive me Walt for I have sinned..

During the Summer months I like to go to TripAvisor.com and read all the one star reviews for Walt Disney World. Those people are really angry that it is HOT, there are long lines, and everything is expensive.

When we go to WDW and eat at a sit down restaurant I always steal the pen in the folio when she brings the bill back for me to sign. Actually I take them any time I can get my hands on them. It is the trigger once I get home that takes me back to my happy place. That and the napkins I take. (although that doesn't matter anymore because there is no writing on them now)

Hey, at least it isn't a ghost thread revival!

My Disney confession: I don't push my family to eat at new restaurants when at Disney.

I hide the shampoos, lotions, and soaps in my suitcase everyday, so Mousekeeping will bring me more. I like to keep a basket of WDW toiletries samples for guests when they stay at our house

After getting home from a week long stay with 8 people in a 2 bedroom DVC villa, I found 6 pool towels mixed in with the dirty laundry. We had intended on washing clothes and re-using the towels while at the villa but ended up packing it all home.

Ooops.

When I lived 15mins away from DL, I did the unfathomable...

There were a few times I'd go into the park & wouldn't ride a single ride. Sometimes it was to just swing by one of the shops to buy gifts; sometimes it was just to grab a bite; and sometimes it was just to people watch while enjoying a Dolewhip float.

I made the mistake of telling my sister (who is in Wisconsin) this once. :sad2:

We lived about 40 min. away, but we had APs every year and would sometimes go just for dinner. Typically we did a ride or two, but not more than a couple when we would do that.

APs really change how people visit the parks. Before it was always Theme Park Beast Mode, haha.

I take soap from the maid's carts. I just love to use Disney soap at home. It reminds me of vacation and takes me right back to Disney. Plus there is something so naughty about taking it. Awful, I know. :)

Yes, and then there were the two years my DH worked for Disney (tax department in Glendale) and we had free passes anytime we wanted.

Wow, OK, you know how at DLR you can get 2 hours free parking at DTD? And if you eat at a table service you get validated for another 3 hours free? Well, three weeks ago we parked, ate and proceeded to park hop for the next 10 HOURS!! When we got to the exit booth at the DTD lot the attendant scanned our ticket and waved us through WITHOUT taking the $30 we owed for the extra 5 hours!! We drove away before he could change his mind. Winning!!:cool1:

Hey, I do the same thing and I don't think it's a sin. I love reading the horrible reviews for the Grand Floridian and other Deluxes. A few have valid points but most are :rotfl2:

You can't tell me that I'm the only one that wears old happy birthday buttons in the parks? Sometimes they give you stickers or something for your birthday. It's just too enjoyable for me not to do every once and a while.

Backstory: my dad and sister both have birthdays in July, over the years we've collected buttons from going during their birthday week. I've brought the extras with me on trips and I've worn them myself. My birthday is in May and it'll be a while till I can go to wdw on my actual birthday (I'm enrolled in college and won't get out till later in May.)

I've also reused the refillable mugs from past trips. Don't hate me. We don't do this anymore. We just bring a 24 pack of water bottles from krogers and forget about soft drinks.

We probably have about 20 pool towels that we've collected over the years. We just take them back up to the room after the pool, and somehow they end up in our car. I also collect the towel animals the maid makes.

We have probably every version of the soaps from the past ten years in our bathroom. We always hide them and get new ones every day.

This is a judge free zone.
I don't feel like I've committed any crimes. We pay enough to snatch a few towels and soaps lol

oh what the heck. where do I begin??? Somehow a large amount of towels, washrags and soaps have made it home over the years. also a few trays from the food court. Once or twice we may have reused a mug from a previous trip. We have had five people in a room at POP on an occasion or two. I have bought meals for people/strangers not on our dining plan. I am looking at a pic we took of the Welcome to Disney sign after we stopped and got out of the car. We once took a microwave to our POP room. Once I got a cup full of mushrooms from one of the CS restaurants without buying anything. Oh, the Mickey doll in my office is wearing 3D glasses from Philharmagic. After DS had an accident early one morning, I went commando the rest of the day. i'm sure i have forgotten a thing or two. hahaha
