disney.com customized trip maps?

A while back you used to be able to customize a map of the parks and they would send them to you. they looked like old scrolls..really cool. I can't find them on their site anywhere. Anyone know if they still do this and where on the site?

Yes, they do. I have maps on the way to me. If you go to disneyworld.com and register, it's under my vacation.

May I ask how long it took you to get your maps from time of order? I had tried doing this twice before and at the end of each time upon finalizing order I got a message stating that the site was having technical difficulties and to try again later. We leave in about 3 weeks and didnt know if we would get them in time.

Hmmmm... I think it took about two weeks. They sent me an email on Thursday saying they were in the mail...let me check and see if it says when I orderd. Nope, doesn't say. But I know it wasn't more than 3 weeks ago.

Another stupid question...

How do I "order" them. I customized mine under My Vacation and the only option is for me to print them on my own. There is the liitle demo 'movie' at the top that says "just place your order" etc but I'm not seeing how to actually order them.

Thanks I just tried again and had no techinical difficulties and order went thru. Hopefully, we will receive before we leave. If not, I will have something to look at after our trip and start planning another.

Have you ever ordered a map before? I think the system will only let you place one order in a certain time frame. Like one order for every six months or so. I know I read this somewhere; just cant remember the particulars. I just placed my order earlier today and went back to check for you and the only option I was given was "print maps" as well.

it seems disney is having a few issues with the site ... I was wanting to get some ordered soon... hummm maybe i'll check tuesday or wed. when people are back to work and internet traffic is a little slower. try that!

Correct. When I ordered earlier today, I had a choice of order or print and my order was placed successfully. When I went back to the site later, I only got the print button. As PP's have added they are only getting print option as well. I would keep trying back. Good Luck!
