OK so i have sooo many questions Ive done a lot of research for the program but i still have many questions unanswered. :confused3
1)are you conciered a college student to be on ur parents health insurence?
2) what is housing like in Cali disneyland?
3)Are there Scholarships?
4)What are the Benifits?
5) how far away from the essentials are the appartments?
6) does a summer semester at a junior college count as a semester needed to go to the program?
7) Do you get access to the Disney store that is only for Cast Members?

Im a senior and im trying to figure out what i want to do with my life after high school and disney is a love in my life. I have always wanted to work at Disney.

The rule with the CP is that you will have needed to complete a semester before starting your CP, not before applying. So you can still apply during the fall for a spring cp. But you have to be enrolled in college to apply. So you cannot apply as a senior during the spring for fall semester.

If I read that correctly, you're still in high school? You may want to check out the Disney Career Start program, which let's you participate right out of high school before you have to take a semester at college.

Im talking about the DLR, and i have looked at the carreer start program but it doesnt have housing.

You may want to keep this in mind as well. Got this off of the website about the DLR program:
A total of $836 (the first four weeks of housing fee payments plus the Program Assessment Fee and Security Deposit) will be due at the time a participant accepts his/her invitation to participate on the program.

Security Deposit ($200)
The required $200 advance security deposit must be paid in full on-line via credit card at the time a participant accepts their invitation to participate in the program. This deposit is fully refundable upon successful completion of the housing component of the Disney College Program and a successful apartment inspection upon check out.

So that is $1,036 spent before you even start the program. Not including any travel expenses that it may take to get there.

newdrama, that huge fee means that you don't have to worry about paying rent that first month...so it kinda evens out. At least, it did for me. (And everyone here with me)

The big problem with the careerstart program is the housin if they had housing I'd be all over it

well.....they don't. So if you want to do the CP instead, you're gonna have to do at least a semester of college. The way I understood it, it needs to be a fall/spring semester since you have to be enrolled in classes when you apply, and the application period is during fall and spring (But I could be completely wrong on that one. Sometimes I don't really listen, lol)

1) It depends on the insurance. Some will cover a child until 18, some while being a student, and some to 25 (regardless of student status).

3) Unfortunately no. Since it's not a college, there is no financial aid either.

4) Work experience. Getting Disney on your resume.

6) Sure, as long as you are not a high schooler at the same time - in other words, duel credit or early college credit does not count. You have to graduate high school and then be in at least your first semester of college. Also, if you did the course this summer, then you would still need to be enrolled when applying.

7) Yep, it's called Company D.

I'm afraid I cannot answer the two DLR specific questions.

I didn't wanto to start a new thread for this so sorry for its slight irrelevance. :rolleyes1From reading this, hehe, I've learned that in many of the jobs people are required to purchase black shoes. I know I should wait until I get down there, but I work at sports authority, am able to get a discount, and we are selling a bunch of sneakers right now that are black and cute where I would want to buy them anyway. My question is, do they have to be entirely black, or can there be a little color in the bottom or side, like a nike swoosh?

For my program, we were told no. No logos, no trademarks. Plain black. But your's could be different, so unfortunately, you may have to wait to find out.
