I have been reading your trip reports for a long time and I must say that this is by far the best one It's really given me an insight on what the CP will be like when I go, and while I've heard lots of rumors about drama and things like that happening on the CP, I'm really glad to see that you're able to stay away from it and just have fun. I'm really sorry for all the negative people - what do they care about your diet or your work schedule? It doesn't even effect them. You're having a good time, who cares! Anyway, I'm just another countless admirer of you and your spirit and love for Disney. You really seem like you're going to be one of those CMs that just MAKES people's vacations, and that's what matters. Good luck, and I hope you and Preston have fun when he visits! It would be hard being away from my boyfriend for that long, so it's really great that you guys are still really good with each other and get to have some quality time. Keep up the good work!

I went to Disney with my mom's best friend and we were eating at the castle. I took this picture without either of realizing it and the little girl (and the boy...if you look closely) seem to be making a deer face. I laughed so hard when I noticed this.

Your reports are fun and entertaining, and allow me to dream of something I never took the opportunity to do. It's been a blast reading about your CP! It's bringing back tons of great memories for me. I did not do the CP but after surviving 9/11 my husband and I moved to Celebration, FL (without knowing a single soul - we waited a year and Sept. 2002 we sold our home and moved to Celebration because quite frankly the only thing that made me happy was going to Disney) and I became a CM at the FD/Conceirge at the Boardwalk and then a few years later I worked group res. at the GF. It was the best way for me to heal after 9/11 and it was an amazing experience & I miss it every day! We ended up moving back to NJ a little over a year ago due to a job promotion for my hubby. I miss my time as a CM very much but I am lucky enough to be able to visit WDW 5x a year (thanks to seriously bulking up our DVC points). We know that someday we'll move back and I will get to work as a CM again Best of luck to you! Its been fun reading about your training - especially since I had to complete the exact same training as you....first FD then Concierge - I LOVED D.U. Too! Enjoy the CP (even when you get deported.....er, I mean deployed to a different resort) and follow your dreams!

Hey Jess I don't come on the Dis hardly ever anymore thanks to the fact that literally almost all my free time is going into wedding planning, and I realized that I haven't read at least your last full TR, but stumbled upon this one tonight and saw your post about the negative comments.

I just wanted to log in and tell you that I think it's amazing the way you are so devoted to your job. How awesome it is that you go out of your way to make magic moments for the guests you interact with, and that it's amazing that you're trying to live this experience to the fullest!

People who cannot see that are obviously just insanely jealous or downright troublemakers because you always seem to be such an amazing person and I agree with all the PP who said that you shine!

Keep up the amazing work Jess, and don't ever stop living and loving your life the way you want to just because of awful people who can't see the good in anyone!

Hi Jess! I just wanted to agree with everyone else before me when I say that I absolutely love your updates! I think you have an amazing attitude and your outlook on this experience is just as I think it should be. I would be trying to live life to the fullest while I was there too. As well as making it my mission to taste each and every cupcake offered on property.

I am convinced that you are helping to make so many trips magical during your work interactions. I hope to run into you or Mark (if he was Woody's friend that day it would be perfect) when we go and I will work up my nerve to say hi. Today I worked from 1:30 - 10 pm!

I got back to the apartment, had some Special K, and then went over to Mark's and we watched Wreck-It Ralph! I think Ralph and Venellope are two of the most adorable characters EVER. Gahh I love this movie so much.​

February 28th, 2013 - The Most Productive Day EVER.

First off, I cant believe that February is over. Second off, PRESTON GETS HERE IN TWO DAYS!

This morning I woke up voluntarily around 9 something. I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and figured that it was about time to get some errands done!

I showered and got ready. Then I went outside and cleaned out my car. A lot of water bottles and chick-fil-a cups had accumulated on my floor, so that needed to be taken care of.

After that I had to run and get Karen's park ticket. I also got some pins while I was out. There were some pins that were on sale and then I bought a really cute set of all of the classic characters in Disney cast member costumes. TOO CUTE. And I love how Mickey is in the custodial gear. Every single role is important here at Disney!!

After that I got gas because my car was running on empty! Then I went over to Publix and stocked up! Even though Im not going to be at my apartment for a week, I was running out of a lot of stuff. I figured that if I bought it all before the trip, then I wouldn't have to come home with a big to do list. It feels really good to have everything here and waiting for me when I come back!

After that I drove back to my apartment. I very quickly put everything away, packed myself a little lunch, and then I was off to my communications class! We watched a lot of youtube videos today about the topics we were discussing. Class went by pretty fast thankfully and we were done an hour early! HOORAY!

Since we watched Wreck It Ralph yesterday, Vanellope was the star of my doodles today.

So after that, Mark had the brilliant idea of going to get our nails done. So we did! We both got pedicures, manicures, and I got my eyebrows done as well. I got a really pretty pink color on my toes and a French manicure on my fingers. There is a place really close to our apartments called I Love Nails! The service was wonderful. I really needed to get my nails fixed up. They felt awful before and now theyre SO much better!

Then after that we went to Chickfila for dinner!

After that we drove back and I started to get my life organized. I made a list of what I have to pack tomorrow!

I JUST HAVE TO GET THROUGH TOMORROW AND THEN THEYRE GONNA BE HERE AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

March 1st, 2013 - OH MY GOD, TOMORROW.

OH MY GOD. TOMORROW, TOMORROW, TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am seriously jumping out of my skin because PRESTON AND FRIENDS GET HERE TOMORROW AND I JUST CANT EVEN WAIT!!!!!

I consider myself to be a romantic and I directly link my love life with Disney, so ever since I was little I have been dreaming about going to Disney with a boy that I like.

But now at this point in my life I'm going to Disney with a boy that I love/my boyfriend who I haven't seen in over a month. TOMORROW IS FINALLY THE DAY OH MY GOD!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, we are going to have SO MUCH FUN. I have the most phenomenal reservations I have ever booked in one trip before. We are staying in a suite at Art of Animation. I'm going to be with my boyfriend and friends from college. We are going to all of the parks AND HANG OUT IN DISNEY WORLD. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BLAST!!!!!!!!

I'M ON VACATION! WOOHOOOO!!!!

Anyways, I might as well tell you about my day. I woke up at 7:50 am and had to be at work at 9:45 am.

Then the best part of my day today was when a reader named Alexandra came up and said hello to me! She said that she reads my trip reports on the DIS and that her family was just checking out from their stay at Coronado! They had a wonderful vacation and I'm so glad I got to meet her before she left! I talked to them for quite awhile about the DCP. Alexandra sounds just like me - very passionate about Disney after visiting here year after year! Shes a senior in high school so hopefully she will get to do her DCP soon! Her and her parents were such wonderful people and I hope that my advice helped! Alexandra, if you're reading this, thank you so much for coming up to say hi! I loved meeting you and good luck with everything you do in the future!

I was done at 6:15 pm and I headed home! I had some Amy's Organic Tortellini and pesto because I was HUNGRY.

Mark and I did our laundry so we would have clean clothes to pack for our trip!!!!! We also did our communications homework so it would be done for next week. THEN IT WAS PACKING TIME!! IM SO EXCITED!!

TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!

AND P.S. SINCE IT'S NOW AFTER 12 AM, PRESTON IS COMING TO DISNEY TODAY!
