This trip report has been so much fun... I wasn't a CP but I started my Disney career the same day as a bunch of CPs so I was an "honorary CP" and now I'm prepping my elementary-age son on his future program! LOL

And on a completely frivolous note, I want that black swim cover-up sooooooo much! It's adorable!

I'm finally de-lurking to say that I LOOOVE this trip report and it's definitely made me want to apply to the college program, when I was only uncertain before!

Finances question: do you find that you earn enough through the program to cover all associated costs (the automatically deducted rent, groceries/dining out, entertainment/off site activities, the pins/souvenirs you buy)? Or is the program something you recommend saving up for before?

Disney makes me want to explode into happiness sparkles!

To answer your question, I would HIGHLY recommend saving up quite a bit beforehand. That's what I did.

Jess, I know that you've gone to seasonal employment now that you're back in school... does that mean you're done at CSR for now? My sons and I are arriving next week and were curious to see if we'd be able to say hi!

June 1st, 2013 (Part 1) - The Frumps Hit Epcot!

We got up and took the Epcot bus over to the park at 9 am. The park was PACKED. I have literally never seen that bad of a backup at that time of the morning. They were playing really interesting music at opening today - "Welcome" from Brother Bear by Jump 5 and also the Year of a Million Dreams theme. I thought I was dreaming! I don't know if that's a normal thing or whatever but AHH I was excited.

Once we all finally got through the turnstiles it was almost 9:30 am.

So we booked it over to Soarin and got our fastpasses. Then we left The Land and walked over to Test Track. On the way we saw that Chip and Dale barely had a line so we had to stop and meet our chippy friends! They were crazy excited to see us!!

Then we went to Test Track and got in the standby queue. It said 45 minutes but it only took about 25 thankfully. Plus that place is adequately air conditioned. It was wonderful.

We all created our cars and this was the first time that I have been on Test Track where the create your own car thing actually worked. So that was exciting. My, Nat, and Vick's car came in second, but that is okay. It was still fun. They all LOVED the new revamp!

Is it just me or is the new camera located in a pretty awkward spot? Because by the time they take the picture, my hair is always flying in my face. Oh well.

Then we needed FOOD!!! I was super sad because Sunshine Seasons was out of croissant berry pudding. So instead I got a croissant and some scrambled eggs so that was alright. Not the same though!

And here is everybody else's food!

After breakfast we went on Figment! Alicia and Vick were not big fans but the rest of us were!

Then we went on Soarin'. Patrick was very happy that the frumps were joining in on his flight today.

After that we went into Mouse Gear and browsed around. Then we met up with Vickie's brother Tim and we headed to World Showcase! Nat, Maggie, and Alicia went to Mission: SPACE and Kristen, Vick, Tim, and I went to Norway to look in the shop. Then we went to Mexico and got lunch at La Cantina. I got the chicken tacos and churros! NOMS!

Someone got Empanadas. YUM those things are incredible too!

Eventually everyone else met back up with us and then we split up again. Alicia, Vick, Tim, and I walked through the shops in the World Showcase. But once we got to Morocco we were DYING of heat. We couldn't do it anymore. So Alicia and I headed back to AoA. The walk back from World Showcase to the bus stop was painful but THANK GOD there was a bus just waiting for us.

We got the whole bus to ourselves and we got back to Art. Then we went to the room and just laid in the air conditioning. Alicia went down to the pool and I sat in my bed for a little while to continue cooling off.

I was just laying in bed for a while, then I plugged my phone in and before I knew it I was passed out asleep! I slept for 2.5 hours straight and I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep so soundly! Before I knew it everyone was waking me up and telling me to get ready for dinner!!

So I got up, changed, and re-did my makeup. We were all getting fancy because we were going to CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE! The frumps cleaned up! It was a big night!

We headed outside to catch our chariot! I mean.. our Magic Kingdom bus. It arrived and then we were on our way!

We walked down Main Street USA, we got our pictures taken, and then we wandered over to Liberty Square. It felt like it was going to rain but thankfully the rain held off. It must've known we did a lot of work to make ourselves all pretty for tonight!

Alicia, Vickie, Nat, and I went up to the character attendant at Tiana and Naveen's line. The line was closed but I thought we'd ask anyway to see if we could get in line. The guy thought about it for a while but he said "just for you girls, I'll let you go in!" WE WERE SO EXCITED OMG.

We told Maggie and Kristen to meet up with us so they did! They had been at Magic Kingdom all afternoon and they had already met Tiana and Naveen... but let's be honest, it's impossible to get sick of meeting them!

Finally it ws our turn to go up and it was like a HUGE party. Tiana and Neveen were just all excited. Tiana is the best and the prettiest and the nicest person in the whole world. Naveen was obviously very happy to be surrounded by so many pretty girls. LOL. This interaction completely made my life. We got TONS of hugs from them and the two of them just play off of each other so well. I literally can't get over how much I love meeting them... Like, my love for meeting them is comparable to meeting Aladdin and Jasmine. THANK YOU TIANA AND NAVEEN FOR BEING PERFECT.

After that we had a little bit of time until dinner so we headed back into Fantasyland.

June 1st, 2013 (Part 2) - Cinderella's Royal Table

We went on It's a Small World. Then we went on the carousel because we are all 5 years old. Yay for Fantasyland! CA-LASS-IC.

Then it was time to check in to CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE. I have never seen a group of people as excited as I saw my friends on this night.

We had to wait to get clearance from the directors of Wishes so we could go into the blocked off area to get to the restaurant. We felt like VIP's. The cast member talking to us, Michael, was so nice. He kept chatting with us until it was FINALLY TIME TO GO INSIDE DSKLFHDLKSJAHFLKSJHLKSAJ!!!

We waited in line and Nat ran into this lady who lives in the same town as her AND she went to school with the woman's nephew! What a small world.

Finally it was our turn to meet Cinderella and she was SO delighted to meet us. She was glad that we chose to go meet her at her castle tonight and said we all looked absolutely beautiful! We all got to take a lovely princess picture together and it was a great way to start the meal! Since our reservation was at 9:30 pm we were one of the last groups to meet her!

Then we waited and waited and finally they said that it was time for our royal party to be seated! AHHHHHH!!!!!

We were brought upstairs into the dining room and it was unbelievably exciting. We got to sit at this nice big table and we were brought our menus. They were different than the stained glass ones you get at lunch or breakfast - they had a night picture of Cinderella's castle on them! Very magical!

Everyone was freaking out, hyperventilating, jumping up and down in their seat... the works. It was CRAZY.

We all decided what to order and our waitress was great at accommodating such a large group of us! First she started us off with drinks and for those of us who got water we got Evian water in a glass bottle. We felt SUPER fancy. That water is definitely different. It seemed like... smoother? I don't know. It's very interesting and it's just super classy to have water out of a glass bottle. IT'S FINE I WASN'T FREAKING OUT OR ANYTHING.

Since this is a lovely prepaid meal, we got an appetizer, drink, and dessert! For my appetizer, I started off with the tomato bisque soup which tasted AMAZING paired with the dinner rolls. Nom.

Kristen and Alicia got this crawfish and grits appetizer that they were DYING over. They couldn't get over how good it was. I can only imagine how amazing it was because they were absolutely raving about the dish!

Nat and Vickie got salads. Way to attempt at the healthy route, guys.

So when we sat down there were no princesses out or anything. It was just us and our appetizers when suddenly WISHES STARTED GOING OFF. It was pretty much amazing. We were just like... WHAT IS LIFE RIGHT NOW. WE ARE IN THE CASTLE, ALL 6 OF US ARE TOGETHER, AND WISHES IS HAPPENENING. WHAT.

It was amazing to have the fireworks going off right outside the window. They were RIGHT THERE. The music was pumped in and everything. AHHH.

I'm just going to post all of the food pictures right now because eating honestly got lost in the shuffle of all of this princess greatness!!

I think this was a type of chicken... I'm not sure though.

June 1st, 2013 (Part 3) - THE PRINCESSES!!!

So then THE fun began. THE PRINCESSES HAD ARRIVED AND THEY WERE COMING TO MEET US SDKFHAFLKHDSKLSAJHFDLKAJDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jasmine came RIGHT to our table. Literally, she is my favorite. She brightens my day and she was like "I see so many faces but I will always remember you." And I'm just like fan-girling and taking pictures and telling her I love her and she loves it. TEAM JASMINE ALL THE WAY. She's the best in the entire world.

I've hugged Jasmine about 10 times tonight. She's my favorite EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Our second princess was Ariel and Kristen was fan-girling over her just as much as I was fan-girling over Jas. We are 5 years old FOR REAL. Ariel was SO EXCITED about our big group. She was like "OH MY GOSH. You guys are just like my SISTERS! And I have two blonde sisters, two brown haired sisters, and two black haired sisters! OH MY GOSH THIS IS PERFECT!!! I HAVE TO TELL THEM!!!!" And she told Snow, "LOOK, THEY'RE JUST LIKE MY SISTERS!!!" Oh my God. I was just dying.

Then Snow White was our next princess. She is Vickie and Nat's favorite so it was a big deal. Our character attendant best friend who was taking our pictures, Benny (Benny-boo as the princesses, and us, ultimately ended up calling him) had to go to the other side of the restaurant, so while we waited for him and just chilled with Snow for a while.

Then we took a picture with Benny Boo! HE WAS AWESOME.

Our last princess was Aurora and she is so beautiful and I love her. She's such a sweet person. She told Alicia she looked like her sister and it was just SO CUTE!! AHHH EVERY PRINCESS WAS PERFECT!

We were all ridiculously giddy and just dying of excitement. GAHH PRINCESSES. The four of them were having a little huddle with Benny, and then they came over and Jas was like "so we discussed it, and we love you guys so we wanted to ask if you guys wanted to take a group picture together." I think we all screamed and died and just AHHHHHHH. It was literally the greatest thing. I LOVE THEM!!!!

We had the most amazing time. THAT MEAL WAS PERFECT. <3

After that I went straight home because I knew I had to get up early the next day. So I was in bed by midnight! Good night!

June 2nd, 2013 (Part 1) - Chef Mickey's!

This morning I worked from 8 am  4:30 pm. I was supposed to work in the convention center, however there wasnt anything going on today so I was in the lobby for the majority of my shift. For some reason, this shift went really well. I think it helped that I was constantly busy and constantly assisting guests. I was able to make some dining reservations and answer a ton of questions. I was also working with a great group of people so that was definitely helpful. I covered Kelsey on her break for one hour in the convention center, and then before I knew it I could already be on my way back to the frumps!

I stopped and got gas at the Hess gas station near the Boardwalk on my way home, and then I went back to Art of Animation. The girls went to Blizzard Beach, Saratoga Springs, and Downtown Disney during the day, so they were on their way back as well. While I waited, I took a shower and got ready for our dinner!

The girls came back and got ready as well. We listened to our frump room play list which consisted mostly of Lizzie McGuire. Then we left around 6:30 pm and got to the bus stop to catch our Magic Kingdom bus. I got all the way to the bus stop and then I realized I forgot my ID in my work bag, so Maggie and I RAN back to the room and grabbed it. Thank God we have the most convenient room location ever.

We RAN back to the bus stop in the blazing heat& and then the bus ended up taking FOREVER to get there. Plus we were all packed in like sardines. It was so bad because there were so many people waiting for the bus. Gahh it was nuts.

Kristen was super dehydrated at Blizzard Beach today and she also got sunburned, so due to the high amounts of people and the lack of air conditioning, she was NOT feeling good. She just had to sit on the bus floor because she couldnt keep standing. Once we got to Magic Kingdom I ran ahead and went to the pop machine and got her a bottle of water. Then we got on the monorail and went over to the Contemporary for our dinner. She was just not feeling well at all so we all did our best to get her cold water and ice and wet paper towels and such. Good thing Vick is going to nursing school because she knew how to handle these kinds of things. I am TERRIBLE at dealing with medical and high pressure situations, so I was much better at going and getting the supplies and checking in for our reservation.

We checked in at Chef Mickeys for our 7:15 pm reservation and we were seated soon after that. Thankfully characters and food made Kristen feel a little bit better.

Our first character was Pluto who is obviously my FAVORITE. EEEEEP my little baby <3

Then we all took turns going up to the buffet. I love Chef Mickeys buffet because of the mickeyroni and cheese, the mashed potatoes, the pizza, and the sushi. That right there makes the entire meal for me. I just love it SO MUCH.

Donald Duck was our next visitor. He actually came by when everyone was at the buffet but we asked if he could come back after and he did! Hes the best. Hes Nats favorite Fab 5 and Alicia had a Donald bow, so it was super exciting.

Next was Minnie! Of course, since we were a huge table of princess girls, we were all super excited to meet Minnie! Vick especially loves Minnie so much!

Then we had Mickey come by and that was so exciting! We all got individual pictures with the head chef because hes the best, of course!

Our last friend of the night was Goofy!

My heart was breaking because I just missed Mark SO MUCH. But I took a special picture with Goof so we could send it to Mark and say hi.

Goof was reading our shirts and laughing and I told him he was a frump too! Because he totally is, lets be honest. He has ketchup on his shirt from working in the kitchen!

We all had our desserts, which were delicious! I love dessert buffets so much.

June 2nd, 2013 (Part 2) - Magic Kingdom Extra Magic Hours!

Then it was time to head out! Thankfully by the end of dinner Kristen was doing a bit better. We all told her to go back to the room, but the girl wouldn’t even miss out on Extra Magic Hours even if she was in labor. So off to the Magic Kingdom we went!

We got on the Iron Man monorail again and then arrived! There were floods of people leaving the park because of the lightning, but the frumps were just goin’ in! WOOHOO! We stopped in the middle of the crowd of people to get our picture taken in our frump shirts! YAY!

Then we took Kristen to first aid just to make sure everything was okay. They told her to keep drinking water to stay hydrated!!

After that we split up. Kristen wanted to go meet up with her friend Allie and her boyfriend Ben, so that’s what she did. Then me, Nat, Vick, Alicia, and Maggie had our own adventures to go on! To Tomorrowland we went!

We were going to go on the Carousel of Progress but the Tomorrowland Dance Party was just calling our names. OH MY GOD that was so much FUN!!!!!!! Seriously, being there with all of my friends and dancing with the characters was AMAZING. I got to dance with Dale and they had some bumpin’ tunes going on. AHH it was so much fun. Seriously. I haven’t had that good of a time in so long.

After about 4 songs, we got some water and then went over to Magic Kingdom to watch Wishes! We found a spot right in front of the castle and sat down with the masses of people who were all doing the same thing. Alicia made herself right at home.

The show was BEAUTIFUL and I have never watched it from there before! WOW. It was quite the view. The father back fireworks were partially blocked but it didn’t even matter because the whole experience was so surreal.

After that we went closer to the castle and decided to hang out until Celebrate the Magic! Nat and Alicia didn’t see it the other night so we needed to make sure that happened! Plus I hadn’t seen it since April and I NEEDED to see the new summer part. OH MY GOD the Little Mermaid and Lilo and Stitch parts were INCREDIBLE. I was just freakin’ out. My jaw dropped for a good majority of the show. Being that close to the castle during this show was just UNBELIEVABLE. It was just too amazing. That show really boosted my happiness level by quite a lot.

Then we made our way back to Tomorrowland and went on the Carousel of Progress. (yes, for real this time) It had been a while since I had seen this show but it is definitely a classic! WOOHOO YAY PROGRESS.

I LOVE ROVER.

However, once our relaxing 20 minutes was over, Vickie and I were exhausted. I had to get up at 6 the next morning, so it was probably a good idea to leave the park right then. There was only an hour and a half left of extra magic hours anyway.

We took the bus back to Art of Animation and then I fell asleep within like 5 minutes of being there. I had another early morning comin’ up!

June 3rd, 2013 - Our Night at Hollywood Studios!

This morning I had to be at work at 7:30 am, so I got up and got ready and arrived. I went right out on the desk. I was scheduled to work until 6:30 pm, but I put in for an early release because I didn't want to completely lose the day.

I did a bit of concierging, and then around 12, my FSA Matt said that I was okay to go! I got my ER! YAYAYAY! I was so beyond excited.

I drove to Animal Kingdom and waited in the Dinosaur gift shop for the girls to get out. However, we didn't see each other so they went to Everest without me. So I had to get over there and wait in the gift shop for them again.

When they got off of Everest, we went to Pizzafari and got some lunch. Even though I already had a grilled cheese at work, I decided to get a pizza. Because why not. I got pepperoni and then I got a chocolate mousse for dessert! Both tasted REALLY good.

After that we were all getting so full and so tired and so hot that we just decided to go back to the room.

I ended up falling asleep for quite a long time, and then all of the sudden it was time to get up and get moving again!

Vick, Alicia, and I met up with the other three at 50's Prime Time and we waited for our table! Our waiter was really funny. He had more of a subtle humor than a lot of the waiters but I enjoyed him very much. He made me laugh.

They had my all time favorite Disney drink all natural lemonade with wildberry foam!

I decided to try something completely new today because I always get the same exact thing at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I went with the Pot Roast today and the apple crumble. The pot roast was SO good. Seriously, I was very happy with that decision.

The apple crumble was good... but I think I will be sticking with s'mores or brownie sundae from now on!

After dinner, we went over to Star Tours! Since it was Star Wars weekends when we were here last time, it was too crowded to get on last time. Today we didn't have to wait very long at all. The ride was good. Star Wars is definitely growing on me. I'm getting to the point where I actually want to watch the movies!

We also went on Muppet Vision 3-D! What would be a frump trip without some Muppets?!

We also made some time to meet Woody and Buzz! We needed to get Nat back in to visit the loves of her life!

Theyre getting married, its fine.

Back to the boulevard! Surge was working photopass tonight so he took a couple group pictures for us!

TA-DA!

I was nearing time for Fantasmic, so we got in line for the 10:30 pm show! We had pretty decent seats and I loved it just as much as usual!!

Afterwards, Nat, Alicia, and I were the only ones who had enough energy to stay for EMH. Vickie was going home a day early so we had to say our goodbyes. So sad

Those of us who stayed went on Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster! We had one hour to do them both and we ended up being successful! Hooray! We were in Rock N Roller Coaster's very back rows so it was CRAZAY!

We took the bus back and then passed out once we got back to the room! One more full frump day to go!

June 4th, 2013 (Part 1) - Our Last Frump Morning!

This morning Kristen and Maggie got up bright and early for their last day, but Nat Alicia and I just couldn't do it. We needed to sleep in for a bit. We left for the Magic Kingdom around 11 am!

When we arrived it was already very crowded! But we were happy to be here!

We were hungry so the first thing we did was get in line for Be Our Guest! We wanted to go there for lunch even though the line looked pretty long.

Nat and I went to Gaston's Tavern and got a cinnamon roll to eat while we were in line. Eating food while in line to go eat food. It's perfectly logical.

The whole entire process of waiting, ordering, and being seated at our table really only took 30 minutes. And take it from Nat and Alicia, it was definitely worth the wait!!

I ordered the braised pork and that was DELICIOUS. It was very similar to my pot roast from 50's the night before... but it was just as good if not better! It's unbelievable that you can get this kind of quality food at a quick service. It blows my mind.

Nat got the Turkey Sandwich which she LOVED.

And Alicia got the roast beef! They replaced the steak sandwich with this one and she ended up really loving it!

I got the chocolate cream puff for dessert. I figured since I went to this restaurant twice in one week it would be okay to drift away from my beloved cupcakes just this once. However, my consensus is that I still love those cupcakes the best!!

Nat got the chocolate cupcake. It was perfect for a chocolate lover like her!

Then Alicia got the strawberry cupcake! She was LOVING that. She couldn't get over how good it was.

We waddled out of the restaurant and then got fastpasses for Space Mountain! The park was insanely crowded but we still found stuff to do!

We got to Fantasyland and decided to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger! However, once we got in line it started POURING. Like, an unbelievable torrential downpour. I couldn't believe it.

We all stood under the different umbrellas while waiting throughout the entire queue. It was CRAZY.

We eventually got up there and met Pooh and Tigger and they were SO cute and cuddly. We loved them!

After we met them, they had to go get some hunny, so they used little umbrellas to try and stay dry while going to get their snack! IS THAT NOT THE CUTEST THING YOUVE EVER SEEN!?

Nat, Alicia, and I stood under that umbrella for quite a long time because we were not prepared AT ALL for the rain, especially for this kind of monsoon!

After waiting for a long time, we RAN to the gift shop and Alicia and I bought our $8.50 ponchos. Then what do ya know, IT STOPPED RAINING. Just our luck!!

After this day I learned to never leave my rain jacket at home ever again.

We decided to wait in the standby for Splash Mountain which took about 30-40 minutes. Ah well. Worth it. We were already wet so the logical thing to do was obviously go on a water ride. Plus we had to get use out of our ponchos somehow, right? LOL that's probably the first and last time I will ever wear a poncho on Splash Mountain.

After that we went on Pirates of the Caribbean which had a 15-20 minute wait. The park was crazy today!

I got a dole whip after that which was NECESSARY. Ah yum. I hadn't had one in a while.

What a fun day you guys had! That's so cool how all the princesses liked hanging around you so much you got a group photo! Never seen or heard of that happening. And all of the princesses seemed so sweet. And the food looks so delicious! Totally want to eat there now.

The carousel pictures are so adorable, so great how you guys went straight for that out of all rides in Fantasyland to go on before eating at CRT. Still don't understand why I haven't ridden the carousel yet. SHAME ON ME!
