Can you use the Disney Collection when you have purchased a DVC resale _ in other words not through Disney - or are you limited (pre 2019) to DVC resorts at WDW ?

Using DVC points for the Disney Collection was one of the first resale-restriction cuts made back in 2006 (?). So, any resale since that time is no longer qualified to book the Disney Collection (Disney Hotels, ABD, DCL) or the Concierge Collection.

Resales of all DVC properties prior to Disney's Riviera (opened Dec 2019) can continue to book the legacy 14 properties (all DVC up through Copper Creek) and exchanges through RCI. Resale from Riviera are restricted to booking only Riviera and RCI.
