Disney Collection Question

Hi all,

We have a trip planned to the GCH on DVC points for September, however my friend just called me up and said that he is planning his wedding for September as well... My question is, if I cancel the reservation for the GCH, are those points returned as normal points or can they only be used for disney collection reservations? Might not even be an issue though since I can't decide whether I wan't to cancel my Disney trip just to go to his wedding Thanks!

they will be reservations points - which I think you can use a Disney resorts too.

but you can't use them at DVC resorts.
