Disney Collection Point Chart

Hi,

I am new to the DVC idea and really considering becoming a member. One key piece of information I have not been able to find online is the point charts for the Disney Collection resorts. I currently live in Hawaii, which make Florida a little expensive to fly to. Eventually I would like to move somewhere on the West Coast and then plan to take yearly trips to WDW. Unfortunately that will not take place for at least 2 years so in the meantime I would like to see if using my points at other Disney destinations is feasable or if I should put off buying into the DVC for a couple of years.

I would put off disney for a couple of years.

the disney collection does include the resort in DL - but this year they are on sale - these points will go back to their normal (high) price next year.

Disneyland hotel std view between 23 and 32
Disney's grand calif hotel std view between 29 and 41
disney's paradise pier hotel std view between 35 and 47

if you can give dates I can give more information.

Put money away monthly as if buying in. Pay cash for your options that you would use points away from DVC. Then if you find out that you can use DVC resorts with the points consistently, you could buy in. The cost won't go up any more than your ability to pay for it. And given that you would have used points for options with an extremely poor return, you would come out ahead financially and could likely buy far less points.
