Disney Club

Just called to renew our membership and was told that the club is ending 12/31/03. Is this true?

My sister just enrolled in this program and now it will end December 2003. We were thinking about joining but now we will don't think that we will.

My membership expires at the end of Feb. 2003. I'm thinking of renewing in December just to get the additional year out of it. Otherwise, I'll be done by March 2003.

I saw the other day on the parks boards that they are doing away with the Disney club. It will be replaced with a Disney/Visa card which you will earn points, for vacations and things. You can probably find out more information on that board. Figures after I have put 3 cruises, and paid off, on our Disney Credit card. I wonder how many rewards points I could have gotten.

Oh now I would be interested in this! I have a GM card that I earn points on, but I usually max my annual points out by mid year. I would LOVE to earn points on a Disney Card that would be used for a Cruise (or other Disney vacation).

Any websites with info yet? Please pass on any info that anyone gets on this! I have become a Disney Fanatic and could use all the financial perks I can get !

I saw an application for a Disney card in the store but I don't think it was Visa. Anyway, the interest was like 17%. WAY too high for me. Hopefully they will come out with something else to save us poor shoppaholics some money.

WHAT?? They're doing away with the Club? They can't!!!! I use it soooo much... I already have a Disney Credit card, it's not the Visa one and can only be used at Disney,but I have too many cards with points that the last thing I need is another one...... Pamco88, maybe the applicaiton you saw was for the Disney Credit Card which is the onle I have. It's for Disney use only......
