I just made ressies for our upcoming trip in May of 2003. YEAH!!!The reservations are for rack rate, but I'm hoping to be able to snag a decent discount eventually. I'm thinking about getting a Disney Club Card and I'm trying to figure out how this discount works. We used it a few years ago and at that time I had to wait until the DC discounts were released for the date we wanted. Does it still work that way? I haven't been able to find anything about the dates currently available for DC discounts.

You can get good discounts too with an Annual Pass and be sure to check out mousesavers.com. They list a lot of discount codes. I have a Disney Club membership but have not used it for discounted ressies as I usually find more of a discount thru other sources.

Thanks Deena...based on my experience on our last trip, though, I'm not holding my breath on being able to get an AP discount. I think they were gone a few hours after being released...I was too late and I thought I was staying on top of things and acting quickly! I don't know if the codes go fast as well, but I figure I'll first try to get a DC discount, then wait and see if anything better comes along. I think DC discounts are usually released first?

Yeah KimR thats a good idea to book with that first and then change later if you find a better one. Not sure when they release the discounts.....Also try Expedia we got really good rates thru them for our Sept visit.
