Hopefully this is the place to come for help. My wife and I just joined the Disney Club, we already are DVC members, what are the perks and bennies of the Disney Club? Do you get savings on Hoppers, etc? Any info, advice, warnings would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a link to the DisneyClub website.

We've been Disney Club members for about 4 years (when it was MK Club); it was great for getting resort discounts. Now that we're DVC members, I'm not so sure it's worth it to have. The discount at the Disney Store is the same with a DVC card. I haven't used the DC lately, and so I'm not up on the latest benefits. Hopefully the link will help you a bit.

Hi there! This post would be better suited for the Budget Board, so I am transferring it over there. Please check the Budget Board for further replies. Thanks! :)

Yes there are ticket discounts!! hoppers -$10.00 plus hoppers -$16.00.

But since you are DVC a AP or PAP might be a better deal for you, especially if you plan more than 1 trip a year!!

As a DVC member you have all the same benifits as a DC member....really was no need to purchase a DC membership.
sorry if this info is too late.
But you just show your DVC card just like you would your DC card for any discounts etc.

I'm a DVC member and I keep my Disney Club Card for the National Car rental discounts. I saved over $400.00 last year on car rentals with that Disney Club Card (one in Hawaii and two in Orlando).

I also saved a whopping 50% off an Aston condo in Hawaii with that Disney Club Card.

littlestar.....WOW....I guess it is worth it for some people. I forgot with the changes the DC card made in the last couple years that it is more like a "travel" club card and not just Disney.;)
I have found that I get the same discounts with my AAA card as with my DC card at resorts and for our rental cars. But not everyone is a AAA member.
;)

We are DVC members and also belong to DC. You'd be surprised, but the DVC does not get you very many discounts at Disney. We use our DC membership to get discounts on our parkhoppers, shopping at DD and National Car Rental. We're renting a car next week in Washington DC, and are saving using 2 DC promos to take approximately $90 off our rental. We also use it to rent a car at WDW and save on that - the DC discounts were better than National's own Emerald Aisle discount (which you can join for free this year if you're a DC member). So I think it's well worth the money.

Thanks for the information....:)
I am learning more every day. I guess I just didn't realize all the discounts that are available.
I use my American Express for the 15% discount at Downtown Disney, and AAA for park hopper and car rental discounts (they are the same as DC). So I guess if I didn't have these the DC would be worth it ;)
