Sorry if this has already been posted here...
Just read the notice on the DC site(copied below), and was wondering if anyone is going to renew for its last year. I think the only way we'll renew, is if we decide to get AP's next year. We won't however, be getting the Visa Card
Dear Disney Club Members,
At this time, we regret to announce that The Disney ClubSM will be closing on December 31, 2003. We would like to assure you however, that we will continue to offer full benefits to all of our Members throughout the upcoming year. An official announcement will arrive in the mail shortly along with a 2003 Update to your Member Kit and your October minizine.
This means you will still be able to enjoy exclusive savings on Disney vacations, special offers and other Members-only privileges through the expiration date listed on your Membership Card or December 31, 2003, whichever comes first. We will continue accepting renewals and new memberships through December 12, 2002.
If you have made vacation plans to one of our Disney Theme Parks and your membership expires before your date of travel, you may renew your membership prior to December 12, 2002 to ensure that you will have an active membership card when you arrive at the resort. Should you decide to renew early, we ask that you wait until late October before you call to renew your membership as we continue to work out the final details for early renewals.
Although we are closing The Disney Club at the end of 2003, we will continue to bring you new ways of connecting to the magic of Disney and will be in touch with you as exciting new opportunities develop.
