Does anyone know, what was the date that you needed to renew your membership by before they stopped taking renewals?

I think it was Dec 13, 2002. But, I think they may have it on their site. I will go look now.

EDIT: This was on their website: ":We will continue accepting renewals and new memberships through December 12, 2002."

It is a shame they will not prorate for the year. Actually, I don;t know if they do, but it does not sound like it.

They did prorate for the year. My Disney Club membership was supposed to expire at the end of February but I called before the deadline and they extended it until the end of the year and I know I didn't have to pay for a full year. However, you did have to call before the deadline.

Actually they WILL prorate for the year, if you have a card that expires before the end of the year. Call the DC for more info, but you CAN prorate it (for a very slight fee) to extend benefits through 12/31/03.

Thanks! My mother didnt know you could do that and when she heard I had done it, she wanted the info, and of course I had forgotten it all.
So basically, if you havent renewed yet and are scheduled to expire during this year, you cant do it, right?

I saw this post, then I ran out to my truck to get my DC. I called the number on the back and she extended my benefits until 12/31/2003 (I did this about 20 minutes ago:) ). My card was going to expire in August. I just had to pay $9.98 to extend the card 4 more months.:)

Great, Browneyes! Thanks!!! I will send her this post right now. :D
