Disney Club discount?

Just wondering if you can still get a discount on resorts if you are a DC member?

We are going in December of this year.

I believe that you can only get a discount on a package and not on room only reservation.

I don't need a package since we have APs.

They have a "package" called the Basic Plan I believe which is room plus Minigolf or something like that. So while its technically a package,you could still use your AP with it.

When are you going in December? We are trying to plan a trip for then also. I just can't decide where to stay!!!

About a month ago I called WDTC to see about a 1-nite, room-only ressie and was told no problem. Just call them and see what they say. If you can, book the room, then if AP rates come out, you can switch it to the lower rate!!!

We are staying at the AKL. It was a no brainer for me. I love animals, my favorite place to be is in the middle of no where surrounded by animals. My favorite Network is Animal Planet, so
when DH said "whatever resort you want, book it" He KNEW I would pick AKL

Now if I would have picked GF, guess he would have to be putting in some extra hours at work!
But like I said he just knew I would be AKL, so he wasn't too worried! LOL

Good luck deciding where to stay.
That is half the fun, I think.
