As DD is nearly two, I am going to start collecting some Disney dvd's for her (and me!). Does anybody know if any films are going to be discontinued soon?

I am starting off with the Jungle Book, one of my favourites :) Which other Disney / Pixar films are your favourites?

I love the jungle book too and also Mary Poppins but i really love thelion king. I also like most of the newer ones like nemo

I love both Toy Story one's, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Dumbo, Jungle book, Monsters Inc, Enchanted....I could go on! :lmao:

There are some great deals on at the moment = Enchanted is £5 (free del) on hmv.co.uk :thumbsup2 , not sure if there are others on offer - just do a search for Disney on there.

play.com have lots of disney films for £7.99 (free del).

Yes, I was looking earlier and thought I would buy some for that price :) the only problem is too many to choose from :)

We love the old classics - Sleeping Beauty has just been remastered for it's anniversary (50th?) - we always look for the old ones showing at campfire movie at FW when we go to WDW.

We would love to see Pinocchio released on DVD - never been able to find it either here or in the US so presume it hasnt been released - has anyone got it?

I think Pinocchio has only been out on video so far, I think it's due to be released on DVD next year.

My very favourite ones are Lady and the Tramp, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Mary Poppins ~ all the ones I saw as a child although I love all the modern ones too.

My Disney faves are Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, Lilo & Stitch and both the Toy Story movies

Have fun collecting them :)

I'm afraid to say Pinocchio has been released on DVD (I have got it), I think it was about two years ago so I wouldn't think it will be back out again anytime soon.

I had most of them on video and I got rid of my video collection earlier this year so have just started collecting them on DVD and have put 4 on my christmas list.

My favs classics are Beauty & the Beast, Lion King, and The Little Mermaid.

I love Sleeping Beauty, Monsters Inc, and the Lion King...

My favourite classic is Cinderella.

My favourite classic is Robin Hood but I also like Lion King, Mulan, Toy Story 1& 2.

I think Cinderella has been out a while now, we managed to get it off play.com for £8. Thought that wasn't bad for Disney film.
I'm not sure about vault dates, but I'd pick your favourite first. Years ago when my DH and I were just dating, I mentioned I really love Beauty and the Beast. He searched everywhere for it and eventually found it on ebay for £60! Just goes to show if you see it at a decent price, buy it there and then. Thats what we've done ever since and we now have quite a collection. They regularly do a buy one get one free promo, so look out for them
Good Luck
