It's so sad that someone lost their life. It's good to see something being done about the issues with that particular ride.

OSHA violations are not uncommon at all, this fine is a large fine compared to many of them however its almost a daily event that Disney is hit with a fine or warning by OSHA.

Primevil Whirl is an OK ride, but there are better spinning coasters out there... including one at my local amusement park, Seabreeze.(4th oldest Amusement park in US) Check out "Whirlwind" http://www.seabreeze.com/gallery.asp?action=view&cat=1
