Disney Christmas Parade

Hi, I was wondering if the parade that is on TV on Christmas is actually taped on Christmas Day. I was hoping to find when I could go and see the stars that you always see on TV. Thanks so much for anyone who can answer.

I think that I remember reading that the parade is actually taped around 12/6.

It was taped on the weekend of December 6th. and 7th.. We were in the MK on the 7th. and watched some of the filming as well as Regis and Kelli doing their broadcasting duties.

We watched them film at the MK on the 6th and 7th, and I think they filmed on several other days as well. We saw Regis, Kelly, Clay Aiken, Jump 5, and the boy who does the voice of Koda in Brother Bear. We didn't hang around all day and watch because they did verything over and over and over so that they could get just the right shots. It was fun to watch for a couple of hours, though. Kelly was really friendly to the crowd and seemed just like she does on tv.

It used to be done "live" Christmas morning but they went to pre-taping it about 8-9 years ago.

Actually, it was taped on the 5th-7th this year. They decided to spread it over three days this year to avoid the problems they had last year with the taping running over.
