Has anyone chosen the $25 Planet Hollywood dining certificate as their Disney Choice Feature with the DreamMaker pkg.? It states there are restrictions. What restrictions are there?

We used in last week. We could choose that or Leave a Legacy (we already did that) or a poster. The only restriction I remember was that it expired within a certain time frame, not a big deal if you were planning to use it on that trip. We had burgers and DD had a baked potatoe and we only had to spend $5.00! It was worth it for that, though we don't really care much for Planet Hollywood. It's neat if you've never been there.

Thanks for your help. It looks like the only feature we'd use as a family. I'm looking forward to one more discounted dinner! Only 40 more days....................:wave2:

Reading from my choice certificate (don't ask, we accidently got two, so I took it back home as a souvenier) "valid 11:00 am-6:00pm and from 9:00pm till closing" also "merchandise and alcoholic beverages are not included". We just used this last week and thought it was an excellent value. Don't forget to ask at the front desk of your hotel (assuming it is a Disney one) for the coupon for the free chicken crunch appetizer.

We used ours at Planet Hollywood, and wished we'd picked something else. It's the only WDW restaurant I wouldn't try again.

The food is not very good. The staff is too peppy-friendly. And, even though we went at lunchtime, when the place was practically empty, it gave me the feeling of being crowded.

It was, though, the easiest thing to find the entire time we were there! :)

we used our planet hollywood wish and it was an excellent meal... too much food though... kid's pasta was a HUGE plate and we are alllll big eaters!

Thanks for the info! We were planning on using this feature too. We ate there last time, it was pretty good. A little crowded, but we went late. I'm looking forward to it again.

I would not waste the feature on Planet Hollywood. The service is horrific and the food is only OK at best. If you choose to go try going at a time when they are not busy, you may have better luck than my family did. We have been three time in the last 5 years and service has declined every time from our first experience. An example of this was in April 03 I was there with my family and we actually got our meals before we got our drinks and the restaraunt was only about 2/3 full with no wait to be seated. I did not even get an apology from the waiter, just excuses and attitude. When I asked for his manager he blew me off and I had to ask another waitress, after the manager only offered to comp our drinks despite the attitude, poor service, oh yeah and incorrect food orders - our wonderful waiter brought us food orders for another group and still didn't get us our drinks until after our actual correct order arrived.

The atmosphere is neat but not worth the headache. Good luck in your choice. You certianly have better options.

We went at 2:00 during the week and it was almost empty (kind of strange) but the service was excellent!

Thanks for all the input. I'm trying to be somewhat careful with our budget and our other choices are one poster, a round of "Goony Golf"or a leave a legacy tile. It seemed like the best choice would be the $25 toward a meal. I didn't know what the restrictions could be, but now I know we'll eat before 6 pm. Hopefully, we won't end up regretting it! Thanks, again, for all your help.:wave2:

I only took a quick peek, but I believe it was various characters around Cindy's castle. I was disappointed because last year's choice poster we got is matted and framed (and came with a pin) and this year it just came rolled up in a tube.

We thought the same after getting last years framed print with pin. Although I liked this poster better it was larger (various characters, it was cute) you would have to have it framed and we flew and didn't want to try and pack or carry on a tube. Planet Hollywood will make a nice free lunch for you if you're watching what you spend.
