Disney Chase Visa Reward Question

I purchased 160 pt AT AKV in 08/08 and at that time the promotional was $500 Disney Reward point thru Visa Chase AND $500 cash card thru Disney. I received the cas card from disney but not reward point on my credit card statement. I gave my guide the 5 digit number from my CC statement. I called Chase and they said they have no such promotional during that period of time.

Anyone has any clue on where should I go from here? Thanks.

Back in 2005 I had a similiar problem. Chase was having no interest for 6 months on the DVC purchase. Well it got totally screwed up and I talked to a supervisor who told me to "PROVE IT". I hung up and called back to a regular CSR and she told me that she knew all about it and that she would help me straighten everything out. However, it took me about 4 times calling back and talking with 2 managers to get what I needed as the 2 managers told me that they didn't have that promotion.

I asked the regular cSR why she wasn't a manager and she said she didn't want to work all the hours they did.

I think the $500 offer was an either or -- not both.

We went with the Disney Rewards and they showed up on our statement on the third billing cycle. No problem. But we purchased in July.

Talk to your guide, who can turn your issue over to the DVC liaison with Chase. I purchased in June and my reward points just got posted to my account about a week or two ago, but we needed the liaison to bird-dog it.

My guide response is that he made a mistake. To make up for it he'll give me $100 visa card. Hmmm.... I'm loosing $400 on this promo.

We purchased an add on at AKL in August as well and were told by our guide it was EITHER the Disney Rewards or Visa card...not both.
