Disney Chase perks at Epcot?

What characters are usually at the Epcot DV Meet & Greet?

They won't tell you in advance- they say it's a surprise and the truth is I don't think the CM out front knows as they switch in and out on breaks.

We got Mickey n Goofy together this trip. They really take lots of time with you because the lines are often quite short.

The other benefits are only for F&W festival. We didn't do Eat to the Beat so don't know exactly what that is.

Thanks for the info about the characters!

We are going in mid-November right after F&W ends. Does this mean that we will not be able to use the Chase lounge or get the Illuminations wristbands?

Eat to the beat are nightly concerts during F&W. The lounge and preferred viewing for both the concerts and illuminations are only available during F&W, and the special eat to the beat seating is only Sat, Sun and Mon during F&W. That's probably why you don't see any of this listed in the chase perks...

The M&G characters change is usually two or three of the Fab Five. I think the last time I did it we got Minnie, Mickey and Goofy. It's also only during certain hours - maybe someone else can post this accurately... I don't really remember what they are ( I want to say something like 1 to 5?)

Correct. The Chase lounge and all of it's perks ends with the festival. If it makes you feel any better, I'll be there for the lounge, but will leave for home on the morning of the day that Osborne Lights starts in DHS .... Can't win em all!

The character meet n greet with the free 5x7 is nothing to sneeze at either! Very short lines and the photo would cost $15 if you purchased it. We even waited a couple of days to go back and pick up our photos- no problem. They do need to know the date it was taken to speed up finding it though.

I have 2 Disney Visa cards, each of my daughters have 1 each so we were able to get 4 photos!

Our kids are too young to have cards, but we have a Visa and a debit, so we always get two each day. 3 Epcot days = 6 free pics per trip. :goodvibes

Was it just multiples of the same photo or different ones? We have the Disney Visa and Chase is our bank so have loads of cards.:)

You get one free photo per account, so if you only have one actual account, but multiple cards (with identical card numbers), then you only get one photo. We have a Disney Visa and a Disney Debit, so we can get two free photos per day and they can be the same or different. We usually get a family shot and a kids only shot per day.

Thanks, thought I had been doing it wrong. We have one account with Disney Visa. I will need to look into getting a Disney Debit for a normal account. :thumbsup2

I believe the card only offers high fees, poor rewards and crazy interest rates ..

Mine offers none of those things.
No Annual Fees
And 0% interest rate if paid off each month.
And rewards usable on my Disney Vacation.

Aw, shucks! I thought I found a new Chase Card perk that I could use on our December trip. Oh well...............

Here is the link for the Chase lounge and perks during the F&W Festival: https://disneyrewards.com/offers/epcotfoodwinejul14/

True- It has to be separate accounts. I used to have 3 different Visa credit card account- hey, they kept giving me money!! lol- but I closed one.

I agree I received my card in January of this year. I received $200 off my February Disneyland trip in a statement credit.

I bought (2) 3 day tickets and 2 MVMCP tickets with reward dollars last month for our trip next month. Paid completely with reward dollars

And by the time we get there next month I will have about $150 more reward dollars to pay off some of my room charges.

I've only paid $10.31 in interest this whole year because there was a great cruise deal that took me about 6 weeks to pay off.

It's been a winner for me.

I love my Disney Visa. I don't need airline miles- cash back would just get spent and not even noticed.

I pay the balance off every month and because I have 2 cards, I keep one unused and we put our vacations on it sometimes and get 6 months no interest to pay it off.

Biggest payout I had was $875 in rewards. I put everything on the card that I can- including paying other bills. I never carry more than a few dollars on me. I don't care if it's a pack of gum, it goes on the card. If they'd only let me pay my mortgage with it!!! Chase mortgage- chase card---not happening. :(

It's so nice to have the rewards card at the parks to pay for everything. We can really splurge in the parks and I don't feel like it's killing me.

So in June, there is but the one perk -- character m+g -- correct?

We might be getting the Memory Maker this year since we're going with a group... does anyone know if the Chase M&G photos can be put on there as well?

The photo is a great benefit that I mostly forget to utilize! I was so pleased when on our last trip we remembered to both go to the M&G AND go pick up the photo. LOL The M&G is awesome. We've made it twice, once in 2009 (but forgot to ever go pick up the photo) and once last Feb. Both times we waited behind only one other family in line. When it was our turn, we weren't rushed. The kids goofed around, the photographer took about 6 or 8 shots. We actually ended the interaction both times because we wanted to get back to rides. LOL They give you a voucher for the photo that you take to the photo center to cash in. Getting the photo was no trouble once I actually remembered it in Feb, I walked right up to the counter and the CM walked me through the process as it was my first time doing a photo that way. I have heard that you shouldn't wait until the end of the night, because the photo center can get very crowded. I went about 2 hrs before park close and had no line at all (and this was during Presidents Week). And no hard sell to try and get to you buy additional photos or anything. Though I could have if I wanted additional poses. :)

Yes you do!! Go to the third floor of the American Pavilion - there is a Chase Lounge there .. Anyone with a Chase card can go. Anyone with a chase card can get a wristband for reserved viewing of Illuminations as long as the reserved area isn't already being used for a private function. All Disney chase card members can get a wrist band for preferred seating the Eat to the Beat on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. All of this is first come, first served, so get to the lounge at 11 am! There's also free freestyle coke machines there - nice place to take a break!
I thought the lounge was only for Chase Platinum members?
