Disney Chase offer question

I got a promotion in mail to open a Disney Chase card and get a $200 giftcard if I spend $500 in first 3 months.

Two questions:
1) I could pay on a Disney cruise booking and that would count, right? I wasn't sure if it excluded vacation booking charges.

2) Can you use a Disney GC on a cruise ? I assume so, but never cruised before.

Yes and yes. Also:

1) Any payment over $100 towards a cruise will also get you 0% interest for 6 months.

2) The GC can be applied to your onboard account; virtually everything onboard the cruise is charged to your onboard account rather than accepting payment on the spot.

Just to clarify #2...you asked if you can use it on the cruise and lanejudy is 100% correct. You can also use it to actually pay a balance on the price of the cruise itself.

Also, as you spend on a Disney Visa, you will earn DisneyRewards money which can also be spent on the cruise (put on your cruise account like a Disney Gift Card)
