DISNEY CHASE FREE DINING

I just got my Disney chase a few weeks ago. I couldn't remember exactly but one year didn't chase members have a chance to book free dining dates a couple days before public? If that comes up again or any promotion like that, do you get an email?

I'm pretty stoked because I used the card to get our airline tickets for our Alaska cruise so I should be getting the $200 Disney gift card (for spending $500). Does anyone know if this is an automatic thing or if you have to somehow request them?

Any other amazing perks I should be watching for/know about???

Also, I'm pretty much in love with how the card looks itself. Anytime I open my wallet I smile, hahahahahaha

Some promotions are offered to Chase card holders before they are released to the public but not all. Also, keep an eye on DisBoards because I have found chase exclusive promotions in here hours before I received my Chase email telling me about them.

I have yet to be able to jump on a Disney Visa deal - and I've had my card for a looooong time.

The 200 dollars should come automatically.

Last year (and I think for the last 2 years) Visa cardholders did not get advanced booking. They were able to book at the same time as everyone else. Last year I did get an email from Visa when the promo went live but no early warning. I would make sure to keep an eye on these boards and not depend on the email from Chase. I have heard some people do not receive it for whatever reason.

Correct, with a caveat. Last year, Disney Visa cardholders got an extra 9 days at the beginning of the FD promo that weren't available to the general public...8/14-8/22.

last summer we were able to take advantage of free dining during our travel dates while they weren't part of the general public dates (so it was like DisBuckMan said - while it wasn't advance booking, it was a longer open window.
