disney characters in animation building ??

I've considered this, and still am. I'm just a cheapskate at heart.....

I have never had a desire to hop. I never leave the parks mid-day, and it's just too much hassle to hop. But maybe just this one time.... I have to decide whether it's worth over $100 for my daughter and me to see Fantasmic......

So...plan another trip for less than 12 months from your December trip and then you can buy AP's and have hopping!

Ahhh.... Disney Math! I'm a student of that myself. That's how I explained to my husband last year that Disney would actually be paying US to visit during free dining! (4 people, one room at the POP)

I did that too! My friend had a pin for regular DDP not QSDDP. We bought 1 day tickets with the package because DD & I have APs. Paid $1,050 for the 4 of us for 7 nights at Pop and got $1,250 worth of food.

Regarding the back entrance through the gift shop, I went in this way on Sunday with no issues (and no CM). As a previous poster noted, I also saw a separate entrance (with no one in line) to see the characters directly over by the entrance to the show. Whether they let you in or not through the gift shop probably depends on simply if a CM is available to guard the exit....

It's probably based on park attendance. They need to monitor how many people are in the building for fire code, so it the park is busier there is a better chance they'll be monitoring the exit.

It's a bad time for GTGS, AA, and MV... the Animation Building is nearly the same all year.

i've heard that sometimes you just get pictures with them if there's alot of characters.

1st Set
Pocahontas and Meeko

2nd Set

Tweedledee and Tweedledum

Yep - if characters meet together, they'll sign and pose together. 3 is uncommon, 2 is more common. The only regular group of 3 I can think of are the Up characters and the Tremaines. You'll find that the more characters there are in the group the slower the line goes, which is why UP typically moves slowly.

This was a non Fantasmic night. I have seen Tweedledee and Tweedledum there on a couple of nights, not on a regular basis. I have also seen them at the Magic Kingdom recently one day by the Tea Cups. Wish I had more information for you but this is what I have seen.

The last time Mr. Walrus was out was Halloween 2008.

We did MNSSHP for the first time last year (09). I was hoping to meet him then, but he wasn't there. Sounds like we just missed by a year!

I also heard the old hag witch from Snow White used to come out for MNSSHP. I really wish they would alternate more of the rare characters in....

Once again, the best thing to do is to write lots and lots letters and stop by guest relations at the parks, asking that they do it.
