Disney characters at our local mall!

I hope this is okay to post here! I know it's not actually WDW, although they did come to "advertise" for the WDW resort. We had some Disney characters at our local mall here in Texas! Are they "touring" around the country? They had photo ops with Mickey & Goofy, who alternated every 30 minutes. It was a setup kind of like pics with Santa. You could buy pictures but they also let you take pics with your own camera. The in another area of the mall they had "Minnie's fashion show" with Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy. They picked a few kids from the audience to be models and put cute little outfits on them. It was a pretty cute show. My almost 4 yo dd loved it. Our last trip to WDW was in December and we're missing it already, of course! This was our little mini Disney fix, I guess! Got some cute pictures with Mickey & Goofy with my youngest on Friday while the older one was in school. Now I have to take the older one up there today....oh, darn...gotta go see Mickey AGAIN.

I posted that they are coming to a mall here in the Atlanta area too, but I put it on the news and rumors board. I can't wait to go the the VIP event on Thursday night. I got the invitation via e-newsletter from the mall. Anyone in the North Point Mall area can go over to the News and Rumors board for all the details. Mickey

Does anyone have any info on the show schedules for the different malls this is taking place?Would love to see if they came close enough.

I dont - but I have seen Mickey, Minnie, Pochantas, Meeko, and Buz and Woody at our mall over the years

Thanks for posting this. I'll be there tonight with my daughter and maybe again on Sunday if we don't get to spend a lot of time there. Not sure how much traffic we'll hit. Interesting that the Disney Characters are going to be at this mall when there isn't a Disney Store there. I was hoping to find a "new" Disney Store to go to. Still looking for some infant costumes from last year that are discounted for my daughter to wear on our cruise in October.

The characters are also coming to my store at our mall next weekend. (Feb. 28th, March 1st and 2nd). I will be working at the store on the Saturday night and am looking forward to seeing the characters. It should be crazy but a lot of fun!

BTW: My mall is located in Taunton, Mass. called the Silver City Galleria.
