Disney Channel Games 2008???

I only went to kindergarten for a few months because my dad was in the military and he got orders to move...so when my kids try to get me to share with them, I tell them I never got that lesson in kindergarten! LOL

feel free to copy any of mine Joe and anyone else... I have NO issues about "my" pics... I learned that sharing thing in K4

Well I'm sorry but I just think it is rediculous to take your pics off of here because "someone" else used them on their site... sheesh... we all got different pics but we all saw the same people so if we pool them we ALL have a nice selection... call me crazy but that makes the most sense to me...

and in spite of my very giving nature... when I choose NOT to share that is my response as well since I am an Army Brat LOL

Who did what?
PM me if you want.

I removed my pictures because someone used it on there own personal blog as there own personal picture. I have no problem sharing (I have e-mailed to a few people who asked for them) if it is asked but I posted to share the pictures from the parade with everyone here and not to have them taken and be used on someone's personal website.

Sorry but I just don't see the big deal... hey everyone... feel free to use mine as your own... and no it was NOT me who used them LOL

I wish they would stop running that pretty chocolates ad on this board it is making me hungry!

Haha, at first I thought you were going to say you were that girl who knocked me out of the window! I was about to say are you KIDDING ME?! But I understand where you were standing. I didn't hear you though, since the girl who pushed me left me deaf. I was around there though and that's where I stayed most of the day. The second floor was so relaxing.

lol. no it wasn't me i'm not 8 years old. haha
lol well you wouldn't have heard me because i didn't say anything! lol. like i said i kinda just stood there and smiled and waved. and i was glad that no other fans were there because they would have been the ones screaming like there is no tomorrow (which i do at the appropriate times lol) and then there would have not been a chance of even seeing them standing by the tents getting their stuff. but yeah i met some nice jb fans, some obnoxious ones, and some VERY mean and rude ones. so i'm glad those weren't around me and i was surprised they didn't know to go look around that area for the stars.

yeah after i saw people up there were you were i was seriously thinking about just going up there for a long while because i was getting tired and discouraged from all those people pushing and cutting in front of you. i mean i was there since like 8:45 in line and when i go inside nering the afternoon girls that had just gotten there were all of a sudden in front of me against the railings. ahhh.. that happened to me a lot. so i kinda just wanted to go up there and watch everything from up there.

anywho, joe i will send you some pictures later like tomorrow. do you just want games pictures or parade? and i am with you with the whole "preparing for 2009 dc games"!!!!!!!!! i am so gonna be more prepared next year and it will be more awesome.

So thanks to - to everyone on this site and your tips. My 5 year old son and i never made it up to the games & i am glad because Thurs was only day we could have made it & lets just say from all the sounds of it - he wasnt ready. For the concert you may have recalled I ended up with field instead of the seats confirmed but I want to say it was fantastic. I had as much fun as my son & wouldnt change a thing. We decided to have a positive approach & make the best of it & it worked for us. We left our infant son with my sister who we got a hotel room for & cajoled into coming with us to Disney. (THANK GOD - lxh was right my GOD I had no idea what Jonas Bros fans sounded like. It was rather amazing. The grandpa in our group likened it to the beatles =). All in all we didnt even head over to DWWOS till 6:30 ish - in our bright non descript clothing... I did wear a lovely shade of green though I dont know if you would call it lime & being newer to the board I wasnt as brave as Joe so I waited when i saw someone else in green to see if they asked me about the DIS boards - needless to say =) I didnt mean any of you this time. But we were in the black section & I was fine with that. We made camp in the back of the field & mostly watched the tvs as well. (Ironically I do saw the gentleman & his black guitar) My son really wanted to see the stars but really wanted to hear the concert too. During down times we walked over by "the rail" & he did get a few autographs, Moises, Alyson, Dylan, Jennifer and several international stars. He was close to JT Austin but no signature. I too wasnt able to capture any of it with pics. I really wish I could have but wanted to respect the Disney requests and not get kicked out or set a bad example. I did hear security advise a lady next to us to throw her camera out or leave. Likewise the lady behind me taped the entire concert and snapped still photos with the "other"camera she brought in - so who knows. To second, third, fourth what many of you have already said - Alyson was great. She came out from behind the rail and danced with my son when a song from Camp Rock came on just before Demi sang. And she kept telling him he didnt have to be so shy - she was great! I felt terrible for the people working that wall & I could tell they could not wait for the night to end. All in all we had a pleasant experience and luckily met some nice people around us. Since we couldnt see the stage =) we didnt really get the whole take 3 steps back, take 10 steps back as we started out and stayed in the back. Ok - didnt mean to make this so big. Thanks again to all and I am super glad that most of you had fun. I probably past so many of you back there on the field.

just lucked into it after the regular seats/field tix were taken and at the end of the day I wouldn;t have been anywhere else...

just wanted to add my thanks to all that posted and kept us updated!
lol-the now famous guitar guy was a family in front of us in line. Which annoying grew larger as they "invited" their coworkers/friends to join them in line because the wife had managed to get 20-30 tickets..
We didn't have to take the steps back either as we had a fairly open spot which was nice, but didn't get any autographs. Guess I was too short to see who was near the fence.. I did try to get the signed pic of Jordan Pruitt but he was only handing them to the kids and my 2 had moved closer to the front so our neighbor's dd had a chance to see the stage. At the end of the concert we were talking and her son (12) said the Jo Bros weren't there last year, so we quickly corrected him saying they hadn't gained the crazy girl following yet!

If you have concert or game pics mostly. I would really really really appreiate it. TYVM!

me too... since mine are all out there for everyone to use, anyone who wants to share back with me, I'd love to have them... Thanks!

didn't make it to the games but got to see the whole paparazzi/stalking thing at AKL every night and morning.

Chesey Staub and Alyson Stoner were really great about taking time to do autographs. There was one other girl that stopped once, an international that stopped briefly and Kyle Massey (sp?) that stopped another time. Dylan and Cole sprouse ran right through, no stopping as did a few other stars that made the firls really disappoiinted.

I couldn't belive the amount of people there that were not staying at the hotel but left late enough that the only way to get back to their hotel was cab. (after midnight, closer to 1 am)

Kyle massey tried to go swimming with friends after signing and changing in his room, the girls followed him to the pool. There were about 15 kids from the games and friends (maybe siblings) playing at the pool and the girls did not care about their personal time. The boys were really loud and kept me up for a while, since I had pool view and the sound came right through the door.

I felt really bad for the families that were just trying to get into the hotel, forbid if they have a van that looked similiar. The girls just mobbed it and didn't really listen to the security guards or anyone. Some of the parents were just as bad.

I was also disappointed in the fact that I was nice enough to leave tickets for the concert at the front desk to be picked up on wednesday and found them in my room on the table when I got back Friday night. I called and left a message on her phone and never heard from her but hoped she had grabbed them. We didn't have time to get them back to WWoS Saturday before going home, so 6 fields tickets went to waste.

Maybe some day we'll get to see the games. Maybe next year if they are open.

That frickin guitar is prob more famous than the JB's right now. Lol. That is it next year I am bringing a guitar with me :rotfl2:

Thanks to everyone for the view of the pictures.

I can attest to the fact that the tickets may have been wasted, but the spaces were not. There was a girl in front of us that did not have a field wristband and I talked to a mom who actually got gold paper to make herself a field wristband so that her dd did not have to go to the field by herself. I guess I am a little dim, but I thought she was saying that hers was too tight, so she was making one that would be looser, but then I realized that she could've gone to the table and showed them that she needed another. So I am sure that there were many others trying to beat the system. She was behind us in the blue section but somehow made her way up in the front farther than we did! Her tickets were given to her by a friend working on the production and her dd did not even really seem to be that interested in the stars - didn't know who Demi was and knew only WYLMITE by JoBros. Her ds kept asking why they couldn't have just left him at Disney Quest.

Anyway, I'm glad that things turned out well for most.

I'm sorry for vafarmmom and her son's bad experience. Hope you recover soon from your health problems. Prayers for you and your ds. Thank you o&l's mom for trying to do something that Disney should have.

I did meet someone from the board, but as a younger member, she wanted to keep her identity hushed. We had a good time talking about some of the information we got here. But as far as approaching anyone with lime green on, I was just too chicken to be looked at like I was a freak when it turned out to be someone that would not have the remotest idea what I would be talking about. I am curious if Joe had on a navy t-shirt that had Fairview FD, rescue or something like that on the back. If so, I saw you!

Anyway, again I would like to say thank you, thank you, thank you to all. :thumbsup2

Guess we all know what to do next year if we don't get tickets! Camp out on Wednesday night! Starting at 4 am like the line on Saturday did!:rotfl:

Yeah there was someone in the red section who had a white wrist band and colored it red with marker

I think that's a little rude to those of us who were there at EXACTLY the time security told us to be and still got purple section.
