Disney Channel Games 2008???

of if maybe they'll film some of the lesser stars at the start of the week?

It would be so much easier if I could just take the whole week off.

I'm nervous that they won't be there on Thursday when we plan to go for the day. And then with TBD on Friday when the girls have a 1/2 day, that's already probably just a wasted day by the hotel pool. LOL. I would go everyday if I could convince my hubby that his wife and girls should miss work and school just to catch a glimpse of the stars!

from my knowledge and the info I received, everyone is getting in this weekend. I believe Sat, dont quote me I am going off of memory. Monday should be like a normal tape production day. maybe lxh will come back and guide you. she is our jedi master...the force is strong w/her....hahaha

HAL'S NOTE: Disney Channel has not confirmed MItchel's participation. The red-carpet event is not open to the public. There has been no announcement of a fanfest.

What to do, what to do!??

Spring is here

Just going through all my friend requests and adding as many of you wonderful fans as I can. Spring is here and I hope that everyone is enjoying it. I love reading all your post. Good luck to all my new friends that are aspiring artists. Remember; never give up because your practice will pay off. I will continue to keep you updated on all of my activities. Pros of going Monday instead of Thursday - maybe there would be less people? As word gets out, will more Orlando area kids be likely to skip school to go?
Maybe the stars won't be "autographed out" - their hands won't be cramped from signing so many autographs? Will they be less tired and therefore more friendly?

Ok first of all... it's worth that $10 meal at HOB to get front of the line and then to make it front of the stage because you get in so fast.. my dd8 was elated to say the least. Secondly, are you intending to out yourself to any lime greeners or are you trying to remain a mystery since you don't PM and have not opted for any of the meet and greets with us?

Oh wow!I have only attended two concerts at DTD House of Blues and did not know about about the "meal deal".That is a GREAT deal!I never have attended internet meets,but I hope we will all meet back here after the DCG are over to DIScuss them.I think that would be alot of fun.

Alright guys, i can finally have some worthy news to share with you guys... Miley Cyrus is indeed performing... i asked her dancer whom happens to be a close friend of mine... my friend (the dancer) said that they aren't goin to use dancers... so i'm guessing she'll be singing slower songs. My friend told me shes pretty sure but not 100% sure that Miley will be performin new songs, she doesn't know which songs or if she'll be performin new songs or not but shes almost positive... don't take my word for it tho!

My Mom has taken very ill and has had open heart surgery. If someone out there can point me in the right direction to have my tickets transfered to my best friend so she can pick them up I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not sure yet if I will be able to take my 2 DD's but I would hate for my BF and her girls to have to miss this. We were all supposed to go together and since I am a passholder I was able to get the tickets that we needed.

I'm not sure if any of the powers that be with the games is still over seeing this thread but if you are please email me and let me know what I can do about having someone else get these.

SO I was going to pick up my concert tickets on Saturday..now I think Im not going till tuesday, can someone PLEASE!!!! pm me with anything special that is in the packet... the anticipation is KILLING ME!!!!!!

I HOPE I am wrong,but I think the only information coming with the tickets will be things like what you can and cannot bring into the stadium,that the WWoS parking lot will not open until 4:00,etc.That is just speculation-HOPEFULLY I am VERY wrong!

WOW, you are all good. I got "So Miley Cyrus, along with some other Hannah Montana crew and lots of other Disney stars will be available for signing autographs and will play for charities such as UNICEF and Make-A-Wish!"

Sorry everybody,but I read absolutely nothing into the link-and believe me I tried!The two charities mentioned are two of the four charities that the four teams will play for ALL week. I think Friday was just mentioned because it is "to be determined".My speculation about Friday is it is just a "make-up" day in case of inclement weather on Monday,Tuesday or Thursday.Hopefully I am BAD WRONG!LOL

Thank you to all of you that have sent out well wishes and prayers for my Mom. She is making some progress. It is very slow going but she is definitely getting a little better. I had not been back on the DIS until just a few minutes ago so I just emailed via one of the addresses that one of you gave. I am hoping that they will be able to add my friends name as well as possibly let her pick the tickets up the same day as the concert. We will just have to wait and see what they say.

I don't think that I will want to go even though I was really looking forward to the concert. We were also going to "skip" school one day and go watch the games. But under the circumstances and the fact that my DD10 has missed several days of school with this and also when my DD5 was in the hospital earlier this month we just can not make it over there for the games.

The RUMORED schedule for Toy Story Mania has April 30 scheduled for "Promotional Filming".Do you think Disney may be planning on using some of the Disney Channel Stars IN the promotional filming since that is the day of the DCG 2008 Parade?

There was a posting that we applied to looking for families for one of two sessions, four hours each to be available for April 30th. I had to send in pix, names, etc. of all of us who would be there. I asked for the morning taping since OBVIOUSLY we have to be available for the 2:15 parade. Allegedly we will hear back from them by tomorrow afternoon. If anything cool (or not) comes back, I'll let y'all know. How awesome would it be if there were DC stars there for it too?!

They are having soft openings for cast members the entire week. Me and my party are going to the cast preview on Saturday, then heading over to the concert afterwards.

From what I understand from the bulletins posted around the area, it's just cast right now, not AP passholders or general public.
