Yes. It has been CONFIRMED that there WILL be a parade featuring stars from the games and/or concert at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, the 30th. There will NOT be a "fan fest."

Who's going over this weekend to pick up your tickets for the concert? Im planning on heading over (from Brevard) when I get home from church on Sunday - around 11:00 or so.

Will our friend "lxh" be there? I'll be on the look out and will post any fantastic info I receive in my little envelope when I return. That's if it hasn't been posted yet!

There is a poster on the board that is directly involved with the DC Games and she's been kind enough to offer information to us as it has become available.

Duh - that might help, huh? The parade will be held at MGM Studios (whose new name totally escapes me right now)!!! Disney Hollywood Studios? Is that correct?

Also where is this this Parade at?

I think it is going too quickly.

Thing is that at work a horrible cold has been spreading around like crazy! I am so scared I'll get it and pass it on to my kids just in time for the concert! I am hoping that if we get it, we'll get it tomorrow or so so we'll be healthy by the concert date.

I am so wayyy late in asking this question....but I take it there is no hope for tickets at this point.....I had no idea I'd be able to make it to Orlando during DCG time...but with a funny twist of fate...I will be there with my 7 year old on Friday, Sat, Sun.....so not in time for the taping or the parade...but in time for concert.....

Does anyone think that you can hear anything from outside the stadium and can you hang out outside the stadium....

If anyone has to give up tickets or know anything about secret appearances on Friday night... let me know. I am trying to keep all this from my daughter so she does not flip out....but little does she know...Mama is the one flipping out!

Well there's no guarantee but you could always stand out front with a sign saying "we need 2 tix" and if someone does have extras I'm sure they'd pass them on... who knows, you might get lucky if someone can't make it in a particular group...

This is very possible! We had 2 tickets left last year because the others who were going to meet us couldn't at the last minute! : I TRIED my best to give them away that day, but every one who was in line already had tickets!!!
Now, mind you it wasn't nearly as crowded as it appears it will be this year...
It may turn out that you will get lucky, things do happen at the last minute!
