Disney Channel Games 2008???

Ok I'm sry I feel dumb what does DD mean???

dear daughter...basically whenever someone writes DD it's daughter DH is husband, etc.

What do you think the DCStars parade route will be? We have seen the block party bash at California Adventure, and that layout is such that it is VERY interactive with the audience. Wondering how early we need to stake out a spot so DD can see all of the DCStars up close and personal and also where the best spot might be

My guess would be that the "Disney Channel Games Are Great In '08" parade(I made that name up but I think it would be a good nameLOL )will follow the same route as Block Party Bash.It sounds like the "DCG Are Great In '08" parade will be a "pre-parade" right before the regularly scheduled run of Block Party Bash.The previous parade,"Stars and Motorcars',stepped off from Backstage at the gate by Star Tours IIRC and proceded to the "Hat" and then made a right down Holllywood Boulevard.At the end of Hollywood Boulevard it turned right and exited at the Backstage gate close to Sid's shop.I would think Block Party Bash follows the same route,but I am not sure.It is also possible the "DCG Are Great In '08" parade will run in the OPPOSITE direction because I saw one of the Star Wars parades,which is also a "speciality" parade and it went in the OPPOSITE direction..I will do some research and get back to you.I do know they had to make some minor changes to "widen" part of the route in order to accommodate the "size" of Block Party Bash.Wow,there are so MANY spots to watch from-I would hate to recommend just one.I will suggest one spot and hopefully more people will come along and give you their suggestions. The ABC Theatre(which is now being converted into the new American Idol show) has steps in front of it that face the parade route IIRC.That would be a good spot to "stake out" because you could sit on the steps and wait.I don't even have a guess as to when you would need to "stake out" a spot,I have a feeling it is going to be "WILD",but you can just keep an "eye" on the area you want and as soon as people start staking out that area "move in" before all the spots are gone.

Congratulations on breaking the BIG news-you are REALLY on top of your game!I find it "funny" that Hal releases the news before dcgames2008.com and disneychannelgames.com! Way to go Hal!The only missing "Stars" I can think of are Mitchell Musso,Emily Osment,Maiara Walsh and the HSM gang.Do you think some of them will possibly still "sign up"?

As of now, nothing has been mentioned of him rejoining the Games. Though, he may. They film in a few weeks, I believe, so if he rejoins, we'll make an announcement about it. Please keep checking. Also, glad to know your Daughters are Fans. Always good to see that. He appreciates it.

No word on her fansites! I can't imagine she wouldn't... maybe she's still unconfirmed for some reason. My only thought is that she COULD be filming a movie. I know she's been working on "Soccer Mom" and "Dadnapped." Anyone know if filming is over on those?

We were contacted by one of the assistant directors about "Soccer Mom". He did not mention Emily to me when I talked to him!

When I get to work tomorrow, I'll look up his # and see if I can get any info from him about Emily.

Need tickets to Disney Channel Games Concert?

We've been told that there are no more tickets to the Disney Channel Games Concert.

Ah, but wait, you will have several shots at getting those precious passes to the concert, which runs from 7 to 10:30 p.m. May 3 at Disney's Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Radio Disney will be giving out family four-packs at Rooms To Go locations. A pack will be handed out every 15 minutes during these hourlong events. Here are the dates, times and places:

Orlando:

Saturday, April 19, 3 to 4 p.m., 5200 E. Colonial Dr.

Saturday, April 26, 3 to 4 p.m., 1657 Sun Life Path

West Palm Beach:

Sunday, April 20, 11 a.m. to noon, 2035 Okeechobee Blvd.

Tickets will be given out 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, at the same location.

Miami:

Saturday, April 19, 3 to 4 p.m., 1650 NW 167th St.

Sunday, April 20, 2 to 3 p.m., 18722 S. Dixie Highway

Saturday, April 26, 3 to 4 p.m., 7360 N. Kendall Dr.

Tampa:

Friday, April 18, 6 to 7 p.m. 27923 SR 56

Saturday, April 26, 1 to 2 p.m., 236 N. Dale Mabry Highway

I wonder how good of seats those will be. I honestly don't think they'll give away amazing seats because didn't those that requested FIRST set the best seats? Then again I do no know.

There will be covered cabanas around the outfield, where the talent will rest between games and some interviewing will take place.

The games will be out in the open.

I was there last year and I think the stage was up all week
the stage did not hurt anything we still had a good time we got to see the stars and took a lot of pictures with them

As they come off the feild my kids just called them to come over and they did most of the times they signed things and took pictures the best disney star was Corbin Bleu He never walked away from any one who asked for pictuers or wanted him to sign

IF my math is correct that is only 192 tickets which is really not a whole lot in a 9,500 seat stadium.I agree with your "guess"-I don't think they will be the best seats.

The parade started really recently... I am pretty sure it was not going in January

I think it even started just this month. March at the very ealiest, but I think it was April. It's very new!!
