Disney Channel Games 2008???

I'm with WEDWDW, there will be sightings! Last year I didn't even know DC stars would be signing and I was pleased at who I got to see. The only autograph I got was Sabrina Bryan, because she was the only star I was interested at that part in the day. We had a nice conversation about how awesome her socks were.

I didn't have an autograph book, so I recommend you buy one somewhere, because you will definitely need it.

I'm sorry to tell you, but no Disney Channel Stars, not even those on Wizards of Waverly Place can teleport, and they have to go upstairs to where there schooling goes on somehow!

How exactly? They WALK!

You'll see them, they are always nice enough to stop by and say hi even if they did spend a million hours in the sun! Even though they have to listen to you scream their name ALL day and play games in the hot sun, they still will make time for you.

If you are going to doubt seeing them, then there is no point in going!

To me, "more shade" could mean a big tent to hang out in during the down times... I wasn't there last year, but I wouldn't think there's any way they're going to cover the entire outfield with some big tent or awning (that would have to be removed by the concert). Based on the "games" I saw them do last year, a lot of them couldn't be done in tents ... even big tents. They can't hide the whole outfield from us!

WEDWDW I REALLY appreciate what you are saying. My post was in response to TSLRocks talking about the field being covered so the view being non-existent. TSL specifically said that she wouldn't plan a whole trip around it... which we did . I'm not sweating it too much as I have been listening to you and those that were there last year and know that the keys are PERSISTENCE and PATIENCE (and not putting the little ones on your shoulders or risking decapitation by camera)!!! We're really revved to go and are staying positive about our ability to interact. The only super bummer is that we are not arriving until Tuesday night so we'll only have Thursday and whatever "mystery" activities take place on Wednesday and Friday. Thanks for your positive outlook. I'm sure we are going to have a blast and this time next month I'll be raving about how great it was.

YOU'RE WELCOME!The Disney Channel Games is the ONLY time of the year when THIS MANY Disney Channel Stars are ALL together in one place. It just seems like there has been SO MUCH negativism placed on this year's DCG from the beginning and it still continues.I AM NOT looking through "disney-colored' glasses-if I thought this year's DCG were going to be a "dud",I would be leading the parade of naysayers-I just don't see it.

We originally had two seats and then two for the field - thinking I would let the 14 year olds have the field and the seven year old and I would sit in comfort. BUT, Rosemarie called me last week and told me that they couldn't split the orders so we changed to four field seats. The seven year old is excited about it though so I'll just go with the flow!
