Disney Channel Games 2008???

right now i would take any news...i am kinda happy they are holding off because last minute may not overpack the party..get it. But in the meanwhile as a disney rep here stated..we are putting arms and legs on everything and it is really quite exciting but also exhausting.....

Unfortunately Cotta, I'm betting that if they team the Jonas Brothers with anyone it will be Demi Lovato. Since the games won't be broadcast until early June they will fall right in the middle of the Camp Rock premier frenzy. Maybe we will all be really blessed and get extra performances out of the stars. I think we are up to five or six confirmed to sing (Cheetah, Jonas, Demi, Jordan Pruitt, Selena Gomez and super special guest Miley) which I think means only a couple of songs per group. The Jonas Brothers did Ellen in Orlando a couple of weeks ago and they only broadcast two songs, but the boys sang a couple of extra for the crowd so keep your fingers crossed!! It's too quiet here... making me nervous

Don't have anything new either... I have a few emails in to fansite people, but don't really expect any news. I'm actually kinda enjoying the break! Keeping up with all those posts was sort of stressful... I don't want to waste park time trying to figure out DC Games stuff once we get there... but now that we have scheduling info and we know team (and maybe fan day) info is on it's way ... I vote we all just take a seat back and relax!!

From this comment I don't feel you have a real sense of what this concert is. Last year each of the 5 acts (Miley and Hannah counted as 2) only did TWO numbers each and did those both twice... that's it... and LARGE breaks in between each person. It's not like being at a regular concert and there is a LOT of down time between each. And I guarantee NOBODY is singing more than 2 songs. Just don't want anyone to get there and be disappointed and from the way it was last year I don't see anything happening any differently this year.

yup it is def a video tv taping and not a concert. lots of down time and nothing in order. the same for the games as well...good call OL MOM

Thanks for the added information on the concert. I was trying to gage how they would fill out from 7:00 - 12:00. I also thought that somewhere WAAAAY back, someone who went last year had said that each performer did four songs. Insider info is ALWAYS appreciated though!!

Are all those people really confirmed to sing?? And who is Jordan Pruitt??? I mean I know Cheetahs and Jonas are confimed and I would be really surprised if Demi doesn't at least sing something... but I sort of got the impression that they (Selena and Demi) were confirming attending the games not performing at the concert. Not that I mind or anything just tryin to get the info straight in my head... I like the fact that they may do more songs than actually televised tho!

Thanks for clarification. I haven't been, but that is sort of the way I thought it would go. Could you be little more specific on the LARGE breaks? I assume it would be like the time between an opening act and main performer at a concert, since they probably have to move around some gear... but maybe it's longer like an hour or more??

are we able to bring in items like leapsters and such to entertain our kids during the downtime? Does anyone know?

Cool, thx! It's hard to tell because you know Disney will be trying to promote what is coming up. I have to say I was sort of surprised the Cheetahs were taking part as they seem like they have been around for a while...

True, I guess maybe our research should really be directed to Disney Channel advertising. Who wants the first shift of commercial watching?
