Disney Cats!

The most recent time was last month by BTM. I was walking past Rancho going towards BTM and I saw a fluffy orange cat sitting in the sand. I waved to it about a million times and said hi. Then it ran to the other side into the bushes and I couldn't find it. But then I looked at a tree nearby and saw a lizard! Then I decided to say hi and I waved to it. *True story* :cloud9: I love animals! I just regretted not speaking cat language (to the cat of course) and saying meow. :p

LOL, I totally understand, I always wave and talk to animals as well! I'm sure my neighbors wondered about my sanity the time I was trying to explain to some swallows why building a nest on the sprinkler head outside my front door was not a good idea. As soon as they started building it I knocked it down (mud nest) and put up tape to keep them away. They were soooo mad!! I know they didn't understand, but it made me feel better to tell them why I had done it :)

We actually spotted one in the hub at DL one evening after fireworks. I was really surprised it has made it's way out to such a populated place. It was headed to Frontierland, but got stuck becasue we passed it. It crept low under the ground cover flowers and dropped out of sight.

I also wonder if the planters outside of Peter Pan are a popular "catbox" for them. I often get a whiff of something on a damper/cooler night when I'm sitting there monitoring a sleeping child in the stroller. I know petunias sometimes have a smell similar to that, but I have 2 cats, a petunia flower bed, and a really sensitive nose... ;)

I love the kitties there. We eat at Hungry Bear occasionally and we always feel compelled to share our burgers, buns or fries. Yes, it is bad for them but they are so cute. I've seen them so many places and they have all looked very fat and happy. I love that they are allowed to stay there. :)

The first time I saw them was also outside of taste pilots grill at DCA. I was shocked! Been going since I was three and didn't see a cat for 20 years and then they were just there one day. It was cute and if they keep rats away then let them stay :)
