Disney Card Holders BEWARE

I mentioned on a couple other thread that I have had an attempted fraudelent charge on my Disney Visa. They cancelled it out and are sending me a new one.

DH has a separate Disney Visa that he has not activated or signed yet. He called to activate it so we would have a CC for emergencies. They proceeded to tell him that there are 2 charges on the account and 4 attempted charges. DH said that he had not even activated it yet!

We had 2 other cards that were not activated that we called and cancelled, but they had no fraud charges on them.
Must be just the Disney ones.

Check your cards!!!! Hoping noone else has any problems!

I had 3 in the fall. closed that account. They issued us new account and cards and transferred all my reward points. They sent us a "fraud" paper that we had to sign that "these" charges weren't ours and it basically gave them permission to investigate. Well, the 3 said charges weren't on that paper, only a "valid" charge. I called DV and they said not to do anything, since that charge WAS ours. Well, 4 months later, those 3 fraudulant charges were back on my NEW account. WTH? so, i called DV again and inquired. They said i never sent back the "paper" w/ the fraudulent charges checked. I told them they weren't even ON that paper, only 1 charge that WAS mine and DV told me i didn't have to send it back if it was my charge....(long story short...they screwed up!) They said there must have been a mix-up and they sent out another paper (correct charges this time) and immediately credited me those fraudulent charges-again! A pain, I must admit, BUT DV/Chase has been SO great and not given me a hard time at all!
I would like to know how in back to back days, I charged $50 to Oregon State University for application fee :confused3 $30 to an online dating service from NY :confused3 and $800 worth of office furniture in Chicago:confused3

I'd gladly take the reward points, but I don't want to pay the bill!
 
I am a little frustrated. This happened a week ago, and they said they would send me my new card within 3 days. I still do not have the card. It was the ONLY card I have. In fact, I have a lot of my bills paid right through Visa that are not going through. I have to call my satellite, telephone, gas co., etc, and pay those by phone until I can transfer those payments to my NEW Visa that I have NOT gotten yet. At least Visa caught most of the fraudulant transactions before they went through!!!

Ours took about a week plus a day or two...it was over Thanksgiving! That is one reason i don't have payments directly hooked to my credit card.....for just this reason. You should probably have more than one card, even if you don't use it....keep as one to use in case of emergency or like this, when your Disney one isn't available! Good luck...I really hope things get straightened out for you :hug:
