Disney Candles?

Hello everyone!

Hope I am posting this in the most appropriate board. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on candles or melt tarts that smell just like DisneyWorld (or Disneyland)? I have seen many in Etsy that claim to smell just like it, but if anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome. I am having a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party for my son, and I think it would be a very subtle way to add some magic :)

Your thoughts are appreciated!

I bought 2 off Etsy and they smelled good and like ot think they has some Disney magic to it ! they ones i have are Haunted Mansion and Soarin

I bought two sets of tea candles off of Etsy (8 scents total). Anthology Candles is the name of the shop. Here are my opinions on the smells.

Attractions:
Soarin Over - Smells like oranges!
Haunted Manor - I really don't get Haunted Mansion from this one. Smells slightly floral, maybe like your grandma's house?
The Black Pearl - Vaguely PoC-like, kinda woodsy and musky. I would not have made the association by smell alone.
Rome Burning - DOES NOT SMELL LIKE ROME BURNING AT ALL! I was most disappointed with this one. Not even slightly similar.

Food Related:
Pineapple Whip - Smells like pineapple and vanilla
Main Street Bakery - Maybe donuts or muffins? Definitely cake-like. It does not smell like Starbucks.
Churros - Smells like cinnamon
The Confectionary - Sweet, like cotton candy or taffy.

So the food ones were much more successful than the attraction ones (except for Soarin, which smells like food!) Hope that helps!

Maple and Whisky on Etsy! They are based in the UK though, so shipping to the U.S. is a little higher than most people are used to, and it can take a little bit for your order to arrive. Very much worth it! I like Beach Club, Main St. Bakery, Pineapple Whip, and Butterbeer (not Disney, obviously, but I love it so much I had to throw it in there).

You defintely saved me some money! I was just about to click Buy on a couple of those!

I will definitely try them, but I don't think I will get them on time...time for another plan

Columbia Fragrance Co. has one Called Walt's Wonderful World, Green Clover and Aloe like the Beach Club. They also have one called Polynesian Paradise that is supposed to smell like the Polynesian lobby. I just ordered both. I have previously ordered the green clover and aloe and also a Soarin' fragrance in rom sprays from them that I like

I do not recommend Anthology Candles. I bought "Haunted Manor", which most reviewers at the time said smelled JUST LIKE the Haunted Mansion, but when I received it I was gobsmacked because it absolutely did not smell ANYTHING like HM. And not only that but it didn't even smell like the things they listed in the description. When I asked to return it they said exchange only with me paying the shipping both ways, but I didn't want anything else and, frankly, I didn't trust their descriptions since HM was so far off the mark. I resigned myself to just chucking the candle (to me, no matter what you call it or how you describe it, it smelled revolting) and chalking it up as a lesson learned. I left a fair and honest review because it's all people have to go by; it's not like they can actually smell the candles beforehand and they're non-refundable to boot. To my surprise Anthology posted a response to my review saying that I had threatened to leave a negative review just because I was mad they would not accept the return of a burned candle...which was an outright lie, I never burned it and they knew that, and I certainly never threatened them. I have never been treated like that in my entire life as a consumer and I told them so privately. In the end they DID refund me, however, so essentially I have nothing to complain about...I just wouldn't recommend them, that's all. They publicly and blatantly lied to save face in defense of one negative review in a sea of positives, and that left a very bad taste in my mouth. I offered to send the candle back but they didn't want it, so I threw it out.

Having said all that, they have had loads of sales and lots of great feedback so I half wonder if I just got a "bad" candle. Although, no matter what I got, I didn't deserve to be treated that way. Anyway, that's my experience with them FWIW.

I wanted to try some of these etsy places, everyone mentioned the Rosie place but she just had a kid and the store was temporarily closed so I went off shopping at my second favorite candle place...

I recently picked up a great deal on wax melts at kringle candle and I was curious what firewood smelled like. When it arrived and I popped it in my warmer I was all excited because it was just like Rome Burning!

I've tried Walter & Rosie's Beach Club, Polynesian, and Confectionery scents. Beach Club is dead on with the lobby smell and is my favorite. Poly smelled good but I didn't think it was exactly like the lobby. Confectionery smells super sweet but not exact same smell as the Confectionery on Main Street.

One thing I will say is their candles are not that strong. If I have one lit in my kitchen, I get a whiff of it when I walk by but I cannot smell it in other rooms. The wax tarts you definitely get a stronger scent from.

Does the Haunted Mansion have a scent? I've never noticed it.

I tried the Walter and Rosie tart melts and had bad luck. Vey little scent at all. Granted I have large rooms but still I expected a little fragrance.

Anyone have a review on how strong the Columbia ones are? I bought some Green Clover and Aloe wax melts from a seller on Amazon that smell just like Beach Club but they aren't very strong and They are around $10 for a pack of 6 squares.

Oh golly, yes! It smells dusty and old, like the doors and windows haven't been opened in a hundred years. But it's almost so natural, and fits so perfectly with the theme, that it doesn't really jump out and slap you in the face. I bought the Haunted Manor candle hoping to get that sort of scent circulating in my house this Halloween, to add another layer to the display and decor, but it didn't work out. Maybe if I stop dusting...

Hmm maybe it is just hit or miss depending on the batch. I've gotten two candles in different scents and they both were not as strong as my wax tarts.
