Disney Canadian at par deal ?

Does Disney have a Canadian at par deal every year and if so when do they usually have this promotion? I was able to get on it this year for my honeymoon and we saved quite a lot! We don't have enogh money to sign up with DVC yet, but I know I'll be needing my fix of the mouse again before we save up enough for DVC (which could take years!)

Past history shows Cdn at par in spring and fall (not summer or winter) but I haven't seen anything for this fall yet (wish there was). If anyone hears-let us know!!!

Christmas 2002 we stayed at Movie Value Resort for $77.00 at Par, I've noticed the rates are the same but in US $ in low season which ends Dec 19th, so I'm going to book the US rate and wait and see what happens and if there is another deal CDN at Par I will switch the rate then

Does the Canadian at par deal work out better then the pay for 5 get 2 free deal. Does the Canadian at par cover tickets also.

For us, having done both, the Cdn at par at the time (our dollar was doing pretty good) worked out to be cheaper. Yes, both deals included the UPHP in the package. I booked the 7 for 5 deal but will wait to see if they offer Cdn at par for the fall. Wanted to make sure I got the resort. As it was, most of the deluxes were showing "sold out" of the 7 for 5 when I booked.

Did you book through dreamsunlimited mom_rules??? I really want to book now as our requests have been OK'd but if a better deal comes up I would love to take advantage. I was going to book through CAA I am not sure if I could change a package???

I've always booked through CAA-make sure you ask for a "Disney Specialist"-they know the ins and outs.

The only problem with CAA is that you have to tell them about the codes/specials and they have to make the changes-you can't do it yourself directly.

I really don't mind this because I like having the control (read type a personality).

They usually do have a Cdn at par for the summer. I used it for the summer of 2002 and there was also one for last summer (I kept the print-out - code JHC released May 15th). Unfortunately they haven't released one for this summer....maybe with our better dollar and park attendance up, they don't feel they need to encourage us to come.

I can't remember them having a 7 for 5 deal last summer/fall.

Maybe they think this replaces it! BTW-on the discounts board they said you could get a Bronze package through CAA with the 7 for 5 deal-I've contacted 5 CAA TA's and all told me that it expired
in March.

Last summer and fall they had the 7 for 4 deal (the Fairy Tale Package)...a much better deal. It also included a beautiful framed print of Mickey's Philharmagic.

They had one for last fall as well, I know because we booked it, but then had to cxl. If I remember it was in the beginning of August they released them and you had to book it by sometime in October. So I guess we'll just wait!

THis deal is still on I know because I am booking mine today. We got 7 nights at POP for just under $2200. DH,DS (adult in disney's eyes) DD 9 and myself. THis includes lenght of stay.

Canadian at Par or the 7 for 5-We did book the 7 for 5 - one room at CBR Pref Rm and another at BWI CL but was hoping for Cdn at Par.
