We may go some time in July (after july 4th). Is there nay part of July that will have smallest crowd, best weather? thanx

We have always gone in July and it is busy and HOT. The weather is always the same, usually around 90 and a little shower in the afternoon to cool things down for the night. With the parks open late we NEVER spend time in the parks in the middle of the afternoon. We enjoy the pool and the other parts of Disney, boats, bikes, etc. People do not realize all of the things that Disney has besides the parks. Just plan on taking it slow and do some exploring around the resorts during the afternoon. You will enjoy your trip much more.

We go every July. The weather is hot, sticky and humid. It normally rains every afternoon for a 1/2 hr. or so. Its welcomed, because it sometimes cools things down a bit. The crowds are fairly heavy. We always go thinking that the crowds will be beyond belief, but we are usually pleasantly surprised that we don't really wait in lines tooo long. It gets hot enough that you may want to go back to your resort, for an afternoon swim and some rest. As long as you wear comfortable shoes, clothes and drink plently of water, as well as bringing one of those water mist fans, you'll have a great time. We get there the week after July 4th and those crowds are thinning out by then. Its still crowded and very hot, but to us is more than bearable.

We were there last July (third week, I think) and we were really surprised by the lack of crowds. Epcot and MGM seemed almost deserted at times. Even the MK (with the exception of Fantasyland) wasn't bad at all. I think we walked right on POTC and Jungle Cruise.

It was really hot - although DH remembers that more than I do. I was just so hyper to be there that I didn't even notice!:p But the afternoon showers are kind of fun - if you are in the parks its a good time to do stuff because a lot of people duck into stores, wherever, to get out of the rain.

You're going to have a great time!

Whatever you do DON'T GO the first week in July! ;) Ok, I'm just saying that to try and keep the crowds down during our stay! ;) We've never been there during the "busy" time and I'm sure it will be packed, but I just want to go and have a good time!
