Does anyone know where I can find the resort bus routes online? This will be our first trip to the AKL. Who does AKL share a bus with? Do we have to switch buses? My mother will be travelling with us, and she is looking forward to the flexibility of leaving the park when she is tired. I would like to make sure she doesn't get lost on the way home to the resort!

AKL (Jambo House) only shares with the Villas at AKL (Kidani Village). Most buses typically pick up/drop off at Kidani first. You will never have to switch buses.

The first part of that is true. The bolded part is true if you are just going to one of the parks or to DTD. If you are trying to get from AKL to another resort, however, you will have to take a bus to a park or to DTD and change to another bus or a different form of transportation (boat or monorail) to get to the other resort. The resort-to-resort challenge is not unique to AKL; it is an issue with most WDW resorts.

AKL-Jambo House and Kidani share buses. The buses will go to Kidani first, and then over to Jambo House. The DTD bus goes to Jambo House first, then to Kidani...that way, if someone at Jambo wants to go to Kidani, they can hop on the DTD bus and get off at Kidani.

As long as she is leaving from a park, she will be fine. She just needs to head to the bus area, look up at the signage for each resort bus stop, and head to the AKL bus. That bus will go directly to Kidani and then stop at Jambo House. Be sure she knows which one to get off at!!

Thanks for the information. We are mostly interested in Park-to-resort transportation, so this is good to know.
