Disney Brings Out the Best in People

My family is planning our next Disney vacation for next June. While planning with my daughter who is now 15, we remembered something that happened to us when she was about 5 years old. While vacationing at Disney, she spent the enitre week collecting autographs of all her favorite characters. On our last day some how she lost her autograph book. She had put her first and last name in her book but no other info. We returned home and forgot all about it. About a week later, she recieved a package from someone we had never heard of from Rhode Island. I could not belive what was in the package when she opened it. Her autograph book and a card from a lady that said she found it and had called Mickey himself to find out who it belonged to. I still can not figure out how she got our infomation. A Mickey miracle I guess. What a special person! I don't know if I would have gone to all the trouble that she did. My daughter still has that autograph book and I hope it will always remind her that Disney brings out the best in people.

I agree to a point .

But I think it's more like the Best People make Disney what it is. Yes Disney provides the Pixie dust and Magic but people have to take it all in .At Disney they do just that.

Now I know there is EVIL that also goes into the Kingdom but for the most part People that GET IT help make it what it is. This includes THE GREAT CM's that put up with the EVIL only to shed Magic on the rest.

And the very nice lady that did that for you knew that it had no monitary value but was an irreplacable rememberence of your DD wonderful time with the Characters.

We had someone do Some Magic for us on a stay and sent them a very nice postcard a few years later to remind them that the Magic never dies.
