Disney Bride shirts

:rotfl2: Sounds like my DF. He is NOT wearing the ears..grr.. We compromised and he said he would wear the pin but no ears. I just gave in. :headache:

:rotfl: My fiance said the same thing. He said he will not wear the groom ears, but he would where the pin. I guess it is a man thing!

Thanks for these,
Can I ask what site you used to find them, as I know most codes are only valid for a certain amount of time, and I might not be getting our shirts for a while yet.....

At the moment I have designed some on Customized Girl - well edited some pre-designed ones really (thanks again to Lynnie!) but need to run it past one of my girls still and check what sizes each of them want.
Will probably wait until we get our date confirmed in October as well, so I can put our specific wedding date on them too

The pictures on the first page are amazing. How would i get one of those pictures put on a t-shirt? Is there a website (if possible to the uk)that i can send the pictures to and get them to put it on a t-shirt?
cafepress does this :thumbsup2

For the guys that will not wear the Mickey groom hat - why don't you make a Mickey Groom Baseball hat like lurkylu did - or just get him a baseball hat that says Groom on it - you can always add the Mickey groom pin.

I'm really glad I don't have this problem. Before we even decided to do DFTW indefinitely, DF saw the top hat on some guy at MK and was like "OMG, I want one."

Okay... so here are some of the shirts I created over the weekend with the help of this lovely board. Thank you for the graphic ideas!

I also order these polos from disneyshopping.com a few weeks ago! They turned out super cute! They are the personalized polos available on the website.

Aw, they all look really cute! Plus you'll have plenty of choice for which one to wear :)

Super cute Jessica!! Did you iron on the first couple or order them online too?

How do you make the iron ons?

You can buy iron-on printer paper at any office supply store. I got my package at Staples. I copy/pasted the image I wanted into a Word document and then printed on the iron-on paper. The directions for ironing the image onto the shirt comes with the paper. ;)

Jessbell, I love the bag!! You did a great job! Make me one too!!:goodvibes

I'm really lucky - my DF is totally up for wearing the Groom ears, lol!

Mine too... but I tried to get him to buy some at WOD in NYC last weekend so we could wear them, and he said no (because the wedding is four months away :lmao:).

I can't convince him to wear a wedding shirt though. Maybe I'll get him this one instead, and then he'll change his mind http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp...&productId=1227306&langId=-1&categoryId=11862

Disney bride and groom t-shirts have been my project the last week, though I ordered through Zazzle.com instead of DIY.

To create the first set on Zazzle, I saved the blank Mickey heads to my computer. I also used Paint (old school, I know) to remove Walt Disney World from the bottom of her designs. Then uploaded them to my account on Zazzle. Finally, I added white text on top. There's a lot of different things you can do with those blank Mickey heads, and she's got them with a bunch of characters, including several prince/princess combos.

This is the link to rumblytumbly's thread... http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1550766

And, obviously, I used the Bride and Groom from this thread to create the blue and green t-shirts. For the 4 shirts on Zazzle (and using one of the coupon codes provided) I'm paying about $70. Probably a lot cheaper to use iron-on, but this was a lot easier. I'll take pictures when I get them.

Glad there's a good thread like this going!

*Zazzle Update* (See my next post for more details)
These wonderful DISigns did not pass their copyright test. You'll have to do it a different way.

ZAZZLE USERS: I ordered a couple shirts for DF and I. I was going to order the whole wedding party shirts but I was concerned about a few things -- first, there was disclaimer saying you have to own the rights to the jpgs to use them, is this strictly enforced? I don't see how it could be :confused3 secondly, how distorted are the graphics when they go from jpg to tshirt? I really wavered, thinking I would kill myself if I spent $200 on shirts I couldn't even give out (if they were pixelated or fuzzy)... Tell me about your zazzle experiences? ... I'm hoping at least my bride/groom shirts come out good...
