Disney Bounding on a budget!

I know exactly what you mean! We are going next September, and yes, heat is a definite concern. However, I think we can "bound" around it! (LOL)

I'm planning to use short-sleeve shirts and maybe even sleeveless hoodies, personally. Some characters lend themselves better to this, like I was thinking about Hiro from Big Hero 6!

Either way, it is doable, just takes a little more thought. But that's half the fun!!!

I see some of the Disneybounding, and how many belt/accessories/scarves/heavier dresses that are worn---sounds great "in theory" but honestly, looser fitting clothes is the way to go in WDW at this time of year! I'm trying to work my outfits the best I can!

I agree, brazzledazzler! Some of the bounding I see looks more like Dapper Days than simple bounding. Me, I'm all about the comfort while at Disney. So, yes, I will be rocking the shorts and crocs while bounding!

I saw a couple at our resort last weekend disneybounding like Cinderella and Prince Charming, and they wore shorts and short sleeve shirts, so it can be done! I did a little myself, but a lot of my disneybounding is subtle and comfortable like your's!

..it's always brazzle dazzle at Disney, imo.

We are going to the World next Sep, and my kids are already planning their bounding outfits! Can't blame 'em since I am too! LOL. My DS4 wants to be Hiro from Big Hero 6. Thought about joining him and going as Baymax! LOLOL! IDK...probably stick with my original plan of: Han Solo (HS), Gaston (MK), and one more at Epcot.

What do you think, DISers? I could totally pull off DarkWing Duck, right?

Ok would love to see some more ideas, this thread needs to be revived. My DD12 and DD10 are wanting to dress up but not in "life kid" stuff and I have not shared bounding with them but will very soon. So please keep sharing.

there is a disney bound instagram feed that is lively and lots of fun,also I think blogs,etc. for lots of ideas
