Our trip has been planned for almost a year. We are staying at the Boardwalk with my in-laws who are treating us (they are Vacation Club members). I have always planned our Disney trips in the past and figured every last detail out but this time I told dear husband that since it was his parents, he needed to do the planning. He NEVER booked airfare nor bothered to even try. So, we resolved to drive from Mass with 3 kids ages 4, 3 and 1. UGH.
I had been checking airfare for the last 2 months and it was astronomical. Anything that even came close to being affordable was not a direct flight and the times were never good. Well yesterday I was doing my usual weekly check in and lo and behold, I found roundtrip non stop flights on Delta for $199 each - thats tax included!!! So we are flying instead of driving!! The flights times are perfect, 3pm leaving and coming back we leave at 7pm on a Sat night (lets hope my kids sleep)! I am so happy for the kids, its so much better for them. I'm not the greatest flyer but in the end this is the best thing. We'll arrive in 3 hours and who know, maybe hit a park that first night!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :cool1:

Hey, just a hint, I'm from MA too... I fly out of manchester. southwest does direct flights to orlando... I booked for october at $109 both ways. If it's not too far to get to manchester, it may be worth looking in to it... even a hour or two in the car to the airport would have to beat the 1500+ miles on the road! :)
